I wish I didn't have to relate to this song...She was my first girlfriend and I was her second boyfriend, she was my first everything. We were friends to lovers. As we broke up, I realized she was never over her ex. 5 days after we broke up, she called at 3AM. She was crying. Not crying over me or over us. But her previous ex. She was just spending time in my arms, hoping she would get back together with her ex... I tried, I tried so hard. I loved her so much to the point I let myself go so she could be alright, hoping that my love would reach her one day, forgetting him and all the hurt she went through so that she can look at me instead and see a future with me... no. she was only spending time in my arms, thinking about someone else. I'm left with a scar so deep that I don't how to heal. I shouldn't cry over someone who probably won't cry over me. She treated me so poorly, yet I still cry over her. I don't want to hurt anymore. This cover will always be special. Last year I was in a situationship and very inlove. Unfortunately he ended things with me and I was so heartbroken. When this song came it felt like it was okay to feel how I’m feeling. I remember riding the metro to Seoul and playing this cover on repeat. Hearing this will always reminds me of healing process in South Korea(also home sick from moving to another country).
