Your voice so calming feels like I'm watching bob ross of blender :)
Ответитьhey sir, can you tell me whats the problem if the "R" key makes me rotate the shape instead of adding more faces?
ОтветитьMy dad walked in while I was trying this and he has named it pedo Pete lol
Ответить"I'll go to five"
enters 16
"don't go too far with this because it could crash your machine"
...
Now I need to learn hair
ОтветитьIt's difficult for people without a mouse to draw lines. It's difficult for people without a mouse to draw lines. I don't have a mouse and I don't have enough skill.
ОтветитьMy grab brush isn't as sharp as yours, idk why. I don't have proportional editing. same strength & size brush. same subdivisions (5) same remesh 0.08. When you use grab brush it seems to be more dramatic, on my side it looks as if I had proportional editing on, it drags the faces nearby & it is not as bold/defined/jagged. ideas? maybe the scale is off but i didn't see him change that.
Ответитьbest sculpt tutorial i've ever watch thank you
:)
bro made his own face
ОтветитьDoes repotology comes after sculpting?
ОтветитьI'm well chuffed with how mine turned out 😁 Going to try it on a realistic character next. 🙌
ОтветитьGreat lesson, helped alot!
ОтветитьThis has been amazingly helpful in understanding and using the sculpt tools in blender! On a side note: I got serious Bob Ross feelings during the entire tutorial and felt like I was watching The Joy of Painting as a kid again.
Ответитьthank you
ОтветитьIt's "Shift+R" to resize the polygons in the remesh, not just "R". At least that's how it is in my Blender.
ОтветитьHi Grant great tutorial! I have a quesiton to an issue I am having when using the 'Draw' tool - for example the nose -when I am trying to apply and subtract not much is happening on the mesh - doesn't appear to adding much or subtracting much to the topology on the nose - any info would be grealty appreciated. I will be checking out your sculpture course for sure!
Ответитьvery good
ОтветитьI'm glad i watched your video. i learned a few new things. Thank you. Your voice is also very relaxing.
ОтветитьI love this guy, the explanation is very easy to understand, the step by step is also very detailed. Thank you bro!
ОтветитьThank You! 🙏
ОтветитьI really enjoyed creating along with you! Also, lips are tough 😅
ОтветитьThank you sir!
ОтветитьThank you so much for this dude, Blender can be super duper confusing to get used to and as a beginner it’s even harder. Awesome tutorial man!👍🏻
ОтветитьGreat video, lots to learn here
ОтветитьMy first sculpt completed. Thanks Grant Abbit . You are awsome
ОтветитьThanks for the tutorial.
ОтветитьI’ve followed your tutorial to the letter so far but when changing my brush radius to the number you have it ends up grabbing more than it should, like when trying to extend the neck it stretches the entire bottom of the icosphere rather than grabbing that small part the same way you did. I’m having trouble with scaling in general when it comes to sculpting it always feels like my mesh is to big/small or my brush is the incorrect size no matter how much I finagle with it any tips? 😢
ОтветитьHey man! thanks for the tutorial, its really great! Now I have a small question, when you draw or grab how are you mirroring it on the other side of the head? such as for the ears, nostrils, eye lids, etc.
ОтветитьI learnt a lot here, but whenever i sculpt in the nose/ears, and remesh, i lose so much details and it just ends up look terrible?
ОтветитьOk, the best tut abou t sculpting in blender, you convinced me. Thank you, I'll keep watching and practicing w/ all videos in your channel.
Ответитьwow, I had no idea you could remesh over and over. I thought it was something you did after you were done. Ok, so remesh just sort of finds polygons that are too large and converts to more detail and also ones too small? and ups them so that most of them are in a tight range? well, I guess all that matters is you can keep equalizing to your target range every time. Yeah, big to small. Foundation and form first because if you go in detail first, you'll not be able to easily change your big shapes or maybe its iffy but this is very interesting and helpful to see what youre supposed to be doing. thx
Ответитьif i sculpt a whole body character with this method can i rig it for games????????
ОтветитьEasy to follow tutorial
ОтветитьThancs man!
ОтветитьYour tutorial here is an absolute Godsend thank you sir! I cannot tell you how many times I have torn out my hair trying to get some basic sculpting done in Blender. I don't do enough to warrant zbrush at its price. Zbrush core mini doesn't allow easy import of existing models. Thank you so much Grant Abbitt! I had a model I'm making for a game asset in Unity - and right away I see how just having my avatar facing forward along X has been screwing me up - less than 5 minutes into the tutorial and already worth its weight in gold. Thank YOU!
ОтветитьSimply amazing! Thank you so much for sharing this free tutorial with us!
ОтветитьMan just made a Putin face🦾
ОтветитьIn Blender 3.6.1 this doesnt work anymore... If i try to deform the ball, nothing happends, doesnt matter which brush I use. There are just 2 Points on the ball where the burshes change something. so I can drag the ball silgihly, but just the whole ball. If I go directly into sculpting, it works.. but I cant change the polygons of the mesh without a crash... hate blender, such a unoptimized tool...
ОтветитьtHIS IS SERIOUS TUTORIALING
ОтветитьExcellent, as always.
ОтветитьWhy my crease doesn’t work well
ОтветитьDUDE! Your studio is absolutely awesome!!!
Ответитьits actually one of the first tutorials, that made me actually understand sculpting! I have trouble learning stuff sometimes due to my disability so thank you!!!!
ОтветитьGreat video, I needed to learn sculpting for a project and this nailed it!
ОтветитьSo, I have a question. I type with my left hand and hold the mouse with my right hand. Where to take the pen? Of course, intuitively I grabbed to the left, but since I start it makes no difference to me (I think).
Keyboard shortcuts will be better for me with the left hand due to getting used to such a system, but maybe the right hand will surprise me and some new neurons will be created :)
Thanks for an interesting tutorial! I'm going to try this in the future :)
ОтветитьGood day Grant. Is there a addon that will make this model a Quad based model with out going through the re-topology process? One that comes to mind is Quad Remesher.
ОтветитьI am using blender version 3.3 on default factory settings. Pressing R on sculpt menu tries to rotate whatever I sculpted than brining the voxel remesh size. What should I do?
edit: shift r brings the remesh size
