outsourcing, a discount for companies.
ОтветитьSome are easy to understand, some not so much.
ОтветитьCall centre agents are overworked and gets paid peanuts. I don't see labour laws protecting these people or rather modern day slaves...Call centres literally steal time away from agents and their families. Agents are exploited each and every day. Why don't this industry have unions for the agents. The only growth that lies in call centres are for the ones that owns the call centres and their clients. It's disgusting what the agents have to put up with. An industry desperately in need of unions that can protect the agents rights, or lack there of...
ОтветитьThey have illness bcoz of unhealthy lifestyle eating too much junk foods, processed food, too much smoking, drinking and lack of sleep bcoz of too much hour wasting their time on online games .perhaps they have a an online tournament earn extra money thats their primary bad habit that causing them to get ill.not their jobs .This jobs requires brain to function handling multitasking task at the same time, sad to say HIV are commonly desease that they aquire the you know the hommo pipipipip because of the dirty shit ! You know better its a self explanatory. One more they cant no longer handle the shit stress bcoz of the metrics and office politics,
ОтветитьAndy is a cool Manager!
ОтветитьI'm tired of this type of industry because they always rank your score from highest to lowest weither you like it or not they forced you to compete to different teams and different centers. It sucks, customer always right and thr client too.
ОтветитьThis is how americans have to work 2 or 3 jobs just to make the rent and compete with little jobs we have with foreigners.
ОтветитьThis american guy loves this country more than anywhere else
ОтветитьI have worked for call centre's for 10 years now. And to be honest it's the worst.
Management and customers are so rude. You don't have a social life at all.
Sadly when I try to apply for other jobs they always decline me because I do not have experience.
The weird thing is, I have much more experience than many administrators out there.
I'm currently unemployed and have been trying to find work other than call centre for almost a year now.
Just finished 1040 calls today. Closing shift would be 2am to 11am. Sleeping time,3hrs a day. Non-voice/medical transcriptionist here.
ОтветитьIs like working in 2nd and 3rd shift in the hospital
ОтветитьI'm doomed then since I've been working the night shift for 11yrs. Never get enough sleep.
ОтветитьDati pangarap ko pumasok sa ganyan, ngayun parang diko na alam haha
ОтветитьThe Filipino customer service people are a lot easier for Americans to understand and they give good service.
ОтветитьThe U.S. need nurses now more than ever, she may be interested working here.
ОтветитьDito sila nagtatayo ng mga call center para barya lang ibabayad nila. Biruin mo yung 500-600 usd lang
ОтветитьIts not really high paying, but call centers pay more than any other companies with line of business of what courses you took at college. My diploma is worthless really. So I have to endure the night shift, never ending tasks from start of shift up to end, the joys of approved vacation leaves and days off. 😑😑
ОтветитьI dont really like this job but if i dont have any choice? Then what can i say?
ОтветитьNo job security, no retirement plans, measly benefits, and salary grade is less than neighbouring countries despite the better overall quality of service.
Was a call center agent for a couple of years I admire people who survived longer than I did, it’s a tough job but we deserve better.
We need to step up, we’re being exploited by greedy corporate BPO monsters, why is there no labor unions for BPO employees?
The worst part? Our government turning a blind eye on these issues.
It’s a tough and incredibly stressful job and yet you don’t earn enough to at least be able to buy a decent house within the metro.
filipino accent blends with our inate personality of being friendly is a perfect match for customer service
ОтветитьCall center is the existing hell on earth
ОтветитьIm also a nurse and works as a call center agent since it pays more. 3-4x higher than a nurse salary in the Philippines. sad though
Ответитьi remember we were laid-off and Indians took our jobs since they said they are much cheaper they said. but at least i got my redundancy pay
Ответитьhays
ОтветитьFilipino English accent is way better to understand than any other non-native English speakers.
ОтветитьBUT THESE YOUNG ONES HATE THE AMER. THE GOV'T IS FOREVER CORRUPT. THATS WHY PEOPLE ARE LEAVING, THE AVERAGE WOMEN ARE DANCING ALMOST NAKED ON THE INTERNET. AND EXCUSE IS??? WE ARE POOR!!!!
Ответитьworking in bpo for almost yrs now. i prefer working at night though coz im not a morning person. i used to work in company handling australian telco and i can't take the early morning shift at around 5am.
i cant deny though that i dont have a social life too as i would prefer to go home and just sleep.
Filipino customer service will ruin customer relations with companies
ОтветитьSo this is why they sound the same and sound stupid
ОтветитьNaka experience din ako sa call center outbound ang position ko, nung puro 0 quota ko, at nung nag resign ako. na isip parang wala na siguro akong gana mag apply sa ibang company, hahahaha grabe ang especially night shift palagi ang oras mo
ОтветитьWe should not be OFFENDED! THIS IS AN EDUCATIONAL opportunity for us to enhance our skills. WE HAVE TO STEP UP and improve our ENGLISH LEVEL. We have to speak FILIPINO with TAGALOR or BISAYA accent BUT WE HAVE to speak ENGLISH with BRITISH or AMERICAN accent. IT IS A sign of RESPECT.
ОтветитьThe Filipino accented English is the easiest for Americans to understand. Much better than Indian accents and those of other countries. Also, Filipinos absorb a lot of American culture, music, movies. Etc.. Hence have the added advantage of being able to converse freely with Americans from all over the U.S.
ОтветитьI got Cancer from working overnight
ОтветитьCall Centres will vanish before 2030 especially the Customer service ones ..
AI,IOT and Block Chain is the Future ..
Speaking Accent understanble to Americans isn't a Skill ..
Finally I quited my call center hell job for one and a half years and got a proper IT job. Zero regrets
ОтветитьProud ako maging isang Pilipino isang visaya Mindanao district davao
ОтветитьWorst employees ever...when they don't know an answer they just freeze up "hehe Yessir...no, sir"...
ОтветитьIts frustrating to speak to some one in india or the philippines over the phone. I mean some of them BARELY speak english or some filipinos sound funny you hear them say things like... Hilo haw are joo? Haw ken ay hilp? Es yur kredet kard ekspayard? Its frustrating
ОтветитьThey have no conversation skills in fact they are extremely annoying and stupid every time I call and get Philippines. In addition it’s that good old Capitalism bs and it’s called cheap labor.
ОтветитьI know that company 🫡
ОтветитьThis call center in the Philippines is displacing a large number of American laborers. It is advantageous for the Philippine economy but not necessarily for the American economy, so it would be preferable for the American government to cease these types of business arrangements and transactions.
ОтветитьDon't compare Filipino CSRs with Indian ones, compare them with American ones. It's hard to understand many Filipino agents, they aren't able to answer questions quickly because they get mesmerized by their scripts. American agents cost 30% more but their handle time is 50% less (per measurable KPIs on average).
ОтветитьAnd yet I don't understand their accent just like i don't understand the accent from India
ОтветитьI’m so happy for them but I cannot understand anyone I talk to in support lines anymore. It’s so insane! 😢
ОтветитьIndian Call Centers are better in my experience. The outsourcing will do anything to save money and they prefer the Philippines , because it is cheaper to pay the workers.
ОтветитьMy client tried to outsource people from India, paying $8 per hour. It turned out their work ethic is not that great, and they were not able to meet expectations.
ОтветитьWhat challenges do the Philippines face? Not bothering to be professional? Always avoiding calls? Not even speaking proper English to the point where customers AND agents cant understand you?
Ответить
