You know, I watch videos like this. I see Nav Bombers doing massive damage. I try it myself, same amount same region same missions. They do next to nothing and get mauled.

...I really don't get this game. And I have hundreds of hours into it.

Same with the sneak naval invasions. I do exactly the same thing - but never get supremacy and can't launch. Yet every one of these videos by multiple creators do it as if its easy, every time.

And I've had this problem for years now. I often just quit playing the game out of frustration because seemingly my version of the game is always set to "screw you, you're not allowed to have fun". Britain never fails to ruin my fun, Italy is always either a complete joke whenever its on my side and a highly competent thorn in my side that refuses to give up if I'm against them.

I'm on the verge of uninstalling the gam yet again. Nothing works as its supposed to. Even when I pain stakingly exactly copy a guide or video. And its not a case of different versions or DLC - like I said, its been like this for years now. My version of the game just hates me.
