I love that they casted actual teens because the story in itself is so important, but having actual queer teens play queer teens make it feel so much more real and authentic as to when you have a 30 year old play a 15 year old, witch give unhealthy expectations. And lets be honest, theres soooo many kids, teens and young adults who are amazing actors/actresses so why not use them ❤

I have watched both seasons like 50 times and have cried like 1m times and I figured out I'm bisexual because of kit connor and Joe locke and I'm sorry for what some fans have done to you guys and kit connor I'm sorry some fans have been pressuring you into coming out and it's ok not to give in and I'm sorry that I'm saying sorry alot like Charlie did lol

I finally got around to watching season 1 after season 2 released, I am so glad I did. I was grinning continuously throughout the entire first episode, then just through the rest of the episodes. The joy that this queer joy gave me is indescribable

Joe Locke as 'Charlie' was outstanding! Had me hooked since E😢p1 and Charlie is just simply heart meltingly adorable!! I enjoyed the whole series so so much ❤❤ just finished watching S2!!

What I honestly love about this show, is that it feels so real. The representation is amazing and wide facetted, there are different ethnicities, lgbtq+ representation, real family issues and true struggles. Usually with teenage shows, the struggles the teenagers have get talked down, ignored or arent portraid realisticly and how youd actually feel in certain situations. But this isnt the case with heartstopper. Besides that, the show has great actors and its insane to know, that some of them have never acted before. The chemistry between the actors is great aswell. Great storyline and great actors. Good job!
