Well said ! I am one of those 2000 people that you spoke about . And Certainly it impacted investment decision, considering I moved from Zerodha to Groww just for US investment.

It is never wise to invest directly in US Stocks. USA has a Estate Tax on foreign investors if the the investment crosses $60,000 and the tax rate 35%.
