I finally took down my Prismacolor Art Stix after years of collecting dust on my shelf. I immediately fell in (art supply) love ❤️ and was excited to order the largest set only to discover that they've been discontinued 😢!!!!! Is there a dupe for these????? Will they be brought back????
Ответитьshe kept on calling the verithin pencils art sticks but she has very good art if that is hers that she was showing
Ответитьvery informative video! Thank you!
ОтветитьThe way she speaks is so therapeutic. It's strange but really warm.
I strangely don't have an art block anymore.
I like this video grate tip
Ответитьwhich is creamier nupastek or art stix
ОтветитьGOD Bless this lady. I wish she was my profesor since my childhood. Thanks for the tutorials Blick Art Materials! I love all your products and services!
ОтветитьCan Verithins be used the same as the premier? As in can they blend like together with each other the same way that the soft core premiers do? Or are the Verithins mainly used as outlining and etc?
ОтветитьI absolutely love Prismacolor.
ОтветитьWhat is the best paper to use with these?
ОтветитьA very helpful video to watch when deciding on which of the three to choose. Thank you!
ОтветитьI bought an indigo blue in the verithin and premier and they look totally different.
Ответитьwell i suggest you start with the scholar when your just learning and then when you get a lil more experianced you can use the premier ... i like to use them with the art stix and the khoi nor woodless colored pencils. Verithin are great for fine details like facial features and such.. un less you ink yours first.. then its a different thing. but all of these are great work light to dark work and layering my only gripe is that they break so damm easy!!
Ответить:) when she looks up and smiles at the camera..melts my heart. so helpful and cute! love you miss Prismacolor!
ОтветитьI enjoy using the premier the most. The verithins are much harder, like an H pencil, so you can use those for details but it's harder to color and blend with those. Between the scholars and the premiers, the premiers are a much higher quality pencil. The scholars are similar to crayola pencils, and are a children's quality pencil.
Ответитьwhen you use different colored paper, what type of paper is it?
Ответитьdo the art stix come off on your hands like pastels
Ответитьit was a store bought stencil
Ответитьwhere did u make the stencil?
Ответить@hannahtwentyify i know you didnt ask me but if i were you i would skip the scholars i bought them and i regretted not going straight to the premier
ОтветитьI like this lady, she's so helpful!!
Ответить@hannahtwentyify The Premier and Scholar pencils are soft and vibrant and great to work with. The Scholar are slightly less expensive but come in limited colors and only in sets - so if you run out of a certain color you don't have the option to replace just that color. The Premier pencils come in sets as well as individual colors which allow you to buy individual colors at a time. The Verithin on the other hand have a harder consistency so they are good for certain techniques and fine lines.
Ответить@gladis518 Just to clarify - that is how quickly they leave our warehouse. It would then be a couple of days depending on the shipping carrier. Hope that makes sense.
Ответить@gladis518 Generally shipments are sent within one or two business days - Blick Ships Quick is our motto!
Ответить@gladis518 Hello - for questions relating to shipping from Blick Art Materials it it best to view the shipping page of our website at dickblick . com / customerservice / shipping / - or email at info @ dickblick . com - or call customer service toll free at 1-800-933-2542. Thanks.
Ответить@gladis518 Hi - thanks for your question. If you purchase online the order would be shipped to your house or whatever address you indicate. Blick stores also carry the Prismacolor products, so you could purchase pencils there if you have one close by.
Ответить@tl828 The Prismacolor thick core, ArtStix and Verithins are all professional quality light-resistant pencils. Currently there is no industry standard to compare one company's lightfast rating with another's. And as with all pencils, each color/pigment has its own lightfastness. So keep this in mind when making your selections.
ОтветитьI love these pencils and dickblick's prices are just wonderful. but are the thick core, art stix, and verithins lightfast?
Ответить@Gabrielaheart1 For more details and pricing, please go to the Blick Art Materials website Dickblick . com / brands / prismacolor /. Thanks
Ответитьyes but how much does it cost?
Ответить@CentralStation300 you should have a well-rounded set of colors no matter what style you're drawing in. they definitely have vibrant colors in their sets, if that's what you're into.
Ответить@CentralStation300 Any of these Prismacolored pencils will work for Anime.
Ответитьwhen i was 10 i got this 4 chrismas not nowing how valuble they were and now im 12 and i draw manga
ОтветитьI love art stix!!!
Ответить@BlickVideos thanx a lot for the info. ur channel is absolutly amazing, they teach us so many things and im amazed with it ---Alex---
Ответить@blueguitar77 Artstix are made of the same ingredients as the Prismacolor Colored Pencils. They are not chalky , they don't create dust, and do not smudge like pastel. They are a great drawing pencil if you want to make broad strokes, cover a lot of area or make large format drawings.
Ответитьare stix different from pastels?? are they like normal color pencil ((without the wood of the normal pencil)?? could u please let me know if they are like pastels?? thanx in advance
