Installing and Configuring Nextcloud on TrueNAS

When I click manage it takes me to the TrueNAS login screen.

That's as far as I got on my TrueNAS box. But I don't manage to make it serve my files. I have set a mount point in the jail to a shared directory of my storage pool. But I could not point the data directory (dunno whether that's the right thing to do) to my storage during installation, and in the admin settings, there is nothing related. So I must be missing out something essential.

Is it possible you can update the link to the TrueNAS SCALE documentation? It leads to a 404 page :(

too bad the install doesn't work according to your instructions. After installation, I get "access through untrusted domain". I do NOT get the login screen.

TrueNAS Scale link returns 404

hahhahaha "Test Changes" and I get an ERROR nice... so i am stuck at the network interface and cant get around that now so this is Useless..

i was going to use 2 network interfaces
first error
"Only one interface can be used for DHCP."
so i uncheck it
then i get
[EFAULT] At least one interface configured with either IPv4 DHCP, IPv6 auto or a static IP is required.

is NextCloud on TrueNas free?

Please slow down some of us are new to Truenas and takes us time follow along

Why turn off hardware offload? That usually incurs a major performance cost.

Can you tell me where the files are stored and how do you backup that data incase you have to restore! thank you for sharing

Any idea why my TrueNAS drive and NextCloud drive are not synced? Each have different folders/files in them now lol. How is this even possible...

Nextcloud won't install, I get the following error.

Error: Gateway-nextcloud had a failure Exception: RuntimeError Message: Last 10 lines: + + + + writing new private key to '/usr/local/etc/letsencrypt/live/truenas/server.key' ----- Signature ok subject=O = TrueNAS (Nextcloud), CN = localhost Getting CA Private Key Partial plugin destroyed

Will try to spend £50 on a video editor to slow down the video cos I could hear the words but not understand. It was still informative, SMH
