Okay so essentially an easy way to just get the thing to start extremely quickly, is to not engage Johnny and just look down at the gun, because every time I did that in preparation before that ending that seemed to quicken the pace at which Johnny ruminates on the idea before mentioning the suicide run in arasaka

I looked up after Silverhand said let’s get out of here and I double jumped back up through the holes in the ceiling I fell through to save Takemura

playing through right now with a female V. I figured after examining some of the characters in the story that I’d try to romance Judy if possible. Then I met Takemura. Double crossed by his corporation, but still principled and driven by honor and justice. Not to mention he absolutely clashes with V, but they still get along and work together. I then decided that he was the perfect match for my character, but then I looked up his the romance system works and was heavily disappointed. Definitely going to save him, but I’m not sure if I’ll go for his ending or Johnny’s.

Takemura actually technically lives and that is revealed in one of the new phantom liberty endings during the credits where he calls you, only reason I know this is because I tried to do the ending with takemura but forgot I didn’t save him so did the one of the dog town endings and he called in the credits

Just played the detective quest for the 1st time and I left at the table, never wanted to work with the cops thought it was a just a gig but wasnt so walked away V's got big fish to fry like saving their own ass thought it was the best role play option

I HATE game design like this. The idea of not having access to all the content is soooo lame.

Takemura isn’t a friend.

Punching Fingers is not a mistake...

In the quest to save Saul, just start the recon then let them stew there while you go do other stuff. I had no idea until Panam send me a hateful message, lmao.

To me it makes no sense that fingers has good cyberwear when he’s KNOW to have the trashiest an lowest quality cyberwear from what you hear from others! Annoying

So I’m not sure what caused it, but I’ve only done one ending so far, the Johnny/Rogue ending. I only had 60% with Johnny.

I don’t remember if the relationship went up after playing the ending or not, but when I downloaded Phantom Liberty, I got a bunch of achievements for things I didn’t do (like do the Devil ending, and the superhero landing thing.) but now my relationship with Johnny is 85%.

Stumbled into the farm near dam by accident and was wondering why this look exactly like Edgewood farm. Didn’t even know there’s a chance you could get there by mistake! I always like to choose the negative dialogues to hear them out before reloading but this I didn’t expect. Thanks for the information!

It took me 2 playthroughs to realize you COULD save Takemura. The game doesn't make it obvious and seems to railroad into accepting his death already.

omg why doesnt the game tell you that you can try to save takemura?!? i was wondering why there was a hole in the wall, but seein the quest marker leading the other way, i didnt look further into it -.-

Wouldn't agree with the takemura one. Or at least, would phrase it differently. It's definetely a disappointing mistake you can make by just not knowing you have a choice, but if you know about your choice, it's not that bad to choose to let him die. From a roleplay perspective, perfectly reasonable. He's a f*cking corp you guys, and very annoying at that at times. Sure he's loyal, but if he thought about his loyalty bit more he would see how hypocritical it is. He's loyal to Arasaka because they got him out of slumbers, gave him discipline and education, but the very reason he was born in a world like this is non other than Arasaka. I also feel like it's a viable perspective to see him only using V for his benefit at the point of the game where you have a choice to save him. Don't even get me started on how smug and annoying and straight up vile he is when he talks about honor among thieves. He's also really pissed at you if you save him and then pick any option except selling your soul to arasaka, like lmao cry about it. Kinda proves my point about him only wishing to use V

with the new dlc, you can punch fingers since he doesn't have special cyberware anymore!
now i dont need to do the weird "visit him before doing the mainstory" crap and punch him at my own leisure!

1v1 smasher is also better from a narrative standpoint.

I have always and will continue to punch Fingers then pop his head in every playthrough. He can have lazer eyes cyberware for all i care.

For the first fact :If you have some tec that can make you jump higher you even can jump back up to takemura

First and only playthrough, never saved takemura (didn't know he was there) - Don't think i even met River Ward lol if i did it must have been the bare minimum- chose the suicide ending as it seemed appropriate to go out on your own terms, never met fingers (didn't use more than basic ripperdoc stuff) - Thank god i didn't betray pam, well she was pretty angry for the suicide since i didn't even tell her of the decision lol

Despite me finish the game in early patch with no police chasing me, several glitches buildings and textures loading in, it was a fun game.

you can punch fingers now, you always could on pc, you can always use console commands to add cyberware.

It's safe to punch the crap out of fingers now, all rippers have the same inventory in 2.0

Yeah let's be real as male v you won't fuck up that last bid, her missions are way to fun
