The saddest scene in the entire show
ОтветитьIs it actual canon that Noatok knew what Tarlok was doing?
ОтветитьNi-ni-ni-ni-ni-ni-Ni! nIcKolodEOnnn!
ОтветитьIf I had a nickel for every time a sympathetic villain with a tragic backstory blew himself up to take down another, more dangerous villain in a franchise I love, I'd have at least two nickels.
I just realized the probably-accidental parallel between Tarrlok and Nishiki.
Korta : Doesn't put an end to this sad story.
Tarlok : Fine, I will do it myself.
Psalm 9 verse 9
The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed a strong hold in times of trouble
All two of them were so tragic characters.
Ответить😢 i remember this scene
ОтветитьI really really wish they kept Amon and Tarrlok around longer. I honestly didn’t c either of them as evil, like ozai or even yakone. I saw them as two broken innocent souls that were driven by anger. All they needed was each other and someone to help guide them and help them heal. And I had hoped Korra could’ve been that person. Heck if she could help Kuvira, she could’ve helped them.
I can totally c her saying to them, mainly Amon/Noatak.
“Just because Aang and yakone were enemies, it didn’t mean we had to be. You may be the same blood; but you’re not the same person. And I think u two (referring to Tarrlok) could helped one another through that.
We don’t have to b friends but we don’t have to b enemies. Let me help you”
Tarrlok was the best character in season 1 of Korra, and Korra's first complex character. He felt completely flushed out, he had moments where we hated him, and then with his backstory, not to mention him receiving his comeuppance from Amon, Tarrlok already paid for the consequences of his actions, had time to ponder, helped the main cast without redeeming himself in the eyes of the public, and stopped the cycle of violence that would have ensued if he didn't kill both Amon and himself.
ОтветитьAnd they were never mentioned again
ОтветитьSuch a waste of life.
ОтветитьJesus loves you and wants a relationship with you 🫶🏽
Ответитьjesus this is the saddest death and amon's tear just tops it all off 😭
ОтветитьHow was this a kid show 😂
ОтветитьProof little brothers always ruin things
ОтветитьVoiced by 2 LEGENDARY GOATS STEVE BLUM n DEE BRADLEY BAKER plus theyre both r best friends in real life so that makes them brothers in real life i have a feeling the studio cast them bcuz theyre best friends wdyt
ОтветитьLOK did a lot of thing wrong, but this scene was not one of them.
Ответитьhe grew up as Noitack became amon and died as noitack😞 what a beautiful story
ОтветитьI know most of us watching are adults but it’s still insane to me that they put suicide in a kids show
ОтветитьWhenever I see this scene I always think about the previous episode when Tarrlok is talking to Korra and he asks her to put an end to this sad story. But at the end of it all it was Tarrlok himself who had to end it.
Ответить🥲😥😢😭 i have dead people always choose depth i have it
ОтветитьTwo brothers knowing that there's no saving left for them, so they had to end it there. Such a sad and tragic scene... I just hope they fleshed out Amon and his followers more instead of delving into the love triangle in the beginning...
Ответитьthe story direction of korra is god damn wild
Ответитьyears later and i still have no idea if amon knew. the sad look on his face says yes, but the boat full of gear says otherwise.
ОтветитьWhen I first saw this scene I thought Tarrlok's reaction in seen Amon/Noatak again like that was gonna be the same Asami's reaction when she was fighting her father in that hanger. As in enraged and disgusted instead of guilty and maybe say something more dramatic like "What you HAD to do to me? What you have done to me and all those other innocent benders, you did not have to do any of that!"
ОтветитьHow did Noatak get three shades lighter in complexion lmfaoo
ОтветитьMan… honestly i wished they could’ve been given some redemption, like how zuko was the villain in season 1, i think they could’ve done the same with Amon and Tarrlok
ОтветитьThis scene is good on the surface but the more you think about it the more you realize it sucks ass and was a lazy finish to a lazy end.
ОтветитьThey had it coming
ОтветитьTHis was so fucking sad. I don't get why Tarlock did it though. They could have had it all. FInally a peacful life...
ОтветитьLegend of korra was for an audience that had grown after the goofy Legend of aang😢
ОтветитьKyoshi to Aang: look, taking Yakone bending isn't end of crime, you must kill him
ОтветитьI think their father is wayyy worse than ozai
ОтветитьTarrlok yells: He’s a bender
Everyone: Stop talking rubbish Tarrlok no one cares your still charged for kidnapping
Tarrlok knew that this is going to be a cycle again with the next generation of kids. The father did the same exact thing they are doing and to end it, would mean forfeiting their lives. Amon probably also realized it and didn't even try to stop him. He knew.
ОтветитьHe wanted to end the cycle
ОтветитьBrothers Last Words:
Noatak: Noatak, i had almost forgotten the sound of my own name.
Tarrlok: It will be just like the good old days.
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Why did the equalists turn against Amon? Sure he is a bender but he is still the only person who can get rid of bending?
ОтветитьThat last boat ride was probably the first and final moment Noatak had genuinely felt happy after decades.
ОтветитьThe the criminal not been born, but been made by their father
Ответитьsorry im dumb but can someone verify if Amon knew tarrlok was going to kill them both for me? What was he crying for?
ОтветитьI don't understand why they did that.
ОтветитьI wanted to like Legend of Korra. I really wanted to. But it just wasn't very good overall, and was starting to go political woke even clear back then. All of that said, I really enjoyed the character arcs of theae two. Its one thing the show did well.
ОтветитьA surprisingly dark moment for a show like this.
ОтветитьIt that voice actor for sub zero in mortal kombat
ОтветитьWho wanted that to happen more?
ОтветитьIt was such a powerful moment I didn't know whether to cry in sadness or cheer in satisfaction as a kid watching this intense show for the first time.
ОтветитьPretty messed up family all because the dad wanted revenge and what did he get instead two power hungry and dangerous sons who commit suicide
Ответить
