Does this transfer MMS messages (photos) by default? It didn't transfer my photos in Messages from my Galaxy S21 to new S24+.

of course I always get f'd over when doing things like this.. It says connecting to transfer your data and then it loses connection everytime. I have tried it wirelessly and with the cable and both do not work.

Hi, just a clarification. I need to switch data from my old S10 to the new S24 using Smart Switch. I mounted a memory card on the old S10. How can I transfer the data stored on the memory card to the new S24 considering that there is no memory card slot on the S24? Does Smart Switch include this possibility?You mentioned this possibility at the beginning of the video, but I didn't understand if the data on the SD card will be copied to the internal memory of the new device or not. I have a question; I use Samsung S9+ with 128GB internal memory and a sd card storage 32GB, and would like to transfer data to my new Samsung A34 with 128GB internal memory and a sd card storage 128GB. Now, while transferring the data from my old phone to new phone, would the sd card storage 32GB data be transferred to the internal memory of my new phone or the sd card storage 128GB?

Do we have to install Smart Switch app? My phone went through my carrier setup process, then asked me to link various accounts, but then drops me off at the Home screen...not the Setup Using Another Device screen. Also, my old phone screen is cracked and damaged so badly that I can't interact with it to take a QR code pic.

Why does it keep asking for WiFi to transfer? It won't connect with my old phone hotspot , and I thought this used WiFi direct anyways? Connects, does a quick transfer before asking to transfer all data, etc....but when I select everything, it then asks for a WiFi connection? I have no WiFi network, just hotspot which is on my phone I want to transfer from.

I have a Samsung A50, and just bought the A54. Both are straight talk. Can I just put the sim card from my A50 into the A54? That way I keep my current phone number and billing?

Samsung says on their site to not switch the sim card until transfer is complete.
