The SONY a7S III: A Technical MASTERPIECE!

My A7siii does not clear up the noise at 12800 in S-Log3 when in auto ISO. It does when i manually adjust it to 12800. Does anyone know what the problem may be?

Should I film in 60fps or 30fps in low light on the a7siii?

Hey can someone help me here I have a big doubt, I have the a7SIII and using XAVC S 4k with Slog3 my "Dual Gain ISO" kicks in at 12800 not at 16000. I wonder if that's because the camera used in these videos were a pre release test model or something and it would perform differently than the model I got? Any help with this would be much appreciated

Most overhyped camera in history. NEVER biying another sony camera ever again.

So if it can shoot 4k 120 raw with an external output, shouldn't it be able to shoot faster than 10 fps with the electronic shutter? 4k is more than 2/3 of the entire sensor. If it can shoot 120 fps with 2/3 of the sensor it should be able to shoot maybe 80 fps with the electronic shutter in photo mode. I mean, honestly what's the difference?

I'm running into issues importing my footage from my SonyA7SIII into Davinci. I'm shooting XAVC-S, h.264. Some people say to shoot H.265, some people say to convert to Apple PRO 4444, some say to buy the studio version to get it to work. I can't seem to find a solid answer. Please help!

amazing camera, but, it's now 20223 2+ years later, would you still buy this today?
i have a super small channel, and am looking to go from cellphone video to a real camera, i am a solo creator, so i need the correct camera, saying because my dad gave a cannot t2i d550 and the image quality is good, i find it very hard to shoot on it by myself especially when i need to talk to the camera, shooting on the t2i made so bulky that i just stopped filming video's for a little while, and then i went back to using my cellphone, but it did teach me what i was missing on a camera, so after doing a lot of very heavy research about cameras, i have focused on the FX30 a7s3 or FX3, now i gave up on the FX30 because it's not a full frame (low light performance) and it would make it harder/more expensive to get a wide angle selfie shot on 10mm lens, vs a wide angle, on a full frame with a 15mm or 18mm at arms length...
any who, a few of my thoughts about this, and i would love your prospective on this?
o and the fx3 vs a7s3 is would i need a view finder??????? how important would the higher mega pixel count, or the extra codec would be???

Two of these vs one red Komodo...hmm. The footage from the a7 s III looks nice, but sort of water color, digital nice to me. As I am shopping for a more Arri-ish look (if that's possible) after Panasonic 4k cameras, I am more inclined to go back to magic lantern on the old Canons versus this. I would like to see this camera on a documentary or film or used in some sort of project. Do you have that? Sample footage, yes. More. I can get a spec rundown. Sorry, just my opinion. Loads of great information and you are a good presenter, but without some real world application and extended use on a piece of work, it all leaves me sort of...flat.

I was looking for an fx6 to go with my a7siii and found only one . An eBay bid on a great camera with accessories . It sold for I believe $9200. There was about 9500 in accessories plus cameras and camera had 27hrs on it . Fair sell for the availability of that camera. I almost bid 9520 then rethought the sale .
I could buy 2 a7siii’s . So I am purchasing one .
