why associate a file type or protocol with a programme not opening in my pc window 10. Windows 10 is not user friendly. Iam facing lot of problem. I am planning to revert it back to window 7 again.

Hey I am trying to add rarreg to a folder on my desktop. It's so dumb because when I try to open it, it opens in word. I don't know where I should even put it but I know It's not supposed to be in word. This happens in some others as well like if I'm trying to download a mod for Skyrim I'll click on the download and it will come up with something that says "open with" with really stupid places to open it with. Do you know what I mean? How do I put them in their original places? Please help I've been dying to know for a long time
