Don't use free toolbox models anymore... (ROBLOX CRAZY BAN PROBLEM)

my brother keeps getting banned for using assets in his game . he's only tryna make an army game and roblox won't do anything whatsoever

as long as you check your scripts your should be fine and if its a still object but says it has a script its likely malicous

If u use a model and u publish ur game, and the model got updated, does ur game also got updated?

my best advice if you're using free models: check the like to dislike ratio. it can help sometimes (obviously its not going to guarantee safety though)

Grab knife used to be a roblox exploit that equipped users with a knife and allow them to grab players and cut their heads.

good thing i used my alt on my game that is just for me messing up stuff and breaking laws of physics i put a gun with cool animations in it but when i played with myself on my ipad it did something bad to both of my accounts so i deleted it

This has happened to me as well, I just realized this after watching this video. I didn't understand the ban message and found out that there was a script that contained sexual content. And I am still terminated to this day. My username was Mmanchamp124

Yeah i got a 7 days ban cuz a model in my game had the trolling gui in it which had a script called "Bomb vest" which roblox did not like. They were kind enough to tell me what exactly was the bad thing when i asked them by email so i was able to fix it and reupload it without issue.

it happened a few years ago.

I recommend if you wanna still use free models to:
-check for scripts ( if the model is meant to be decorative remove it the second you find it )
-try to find suspicous parts ( if for some reason the left to right slider is too large it probably means it has something sketchy )
-dont place sketchy ones ( sometimes the like to dislike ratio can help )

Do note that there are probably more things to be aware of, but this is all i got for now, stay safe!

I have just recently being banned for this for “illegal” activity . I am just praying i get unbanned. I put so much time and effort into my game i would love to have it back

the best thing to do is to look at any script the free model came with and if it has a "require(number)" in it, delete it

if the script has a name similar to "DONT DELETE" then double check if you actually need to keep it or delete it. if it's an abnormally long script with no text in it scroll down and you might find another "require" in it. delete that script. if the script looks legit with actual scripting in it, keep it because your free model might break

now im aware this video talks about free models, but you also need to check your plugins as well. some plugins will make it so that whenever you join a game (?) there will be an inserted script in a random place of your game. it'll usually also have the "DONT DELETE" name as well. just as i said, double check if you have to delete it or not

It's real, I had tested with a new account and I got that ban for creating a baseplate game with Ultimate Trolling free model

roblox added a safe model system a year ago its just easy to bypass

The best way to do with a situation like this is just to double click the script before knowing was or not a virus, and you can find some catchy assets on it, you'd remove it quickly, but roblox never listens, so goodluck on those who is ever uses the toolbox and have a good day.

Yeah, ever since Roblox started making bad and unnecessary updates to not only the website, but to Roblox Studio, I quit developing there. I’m thinking of developing elsewhere like Unity, Unreal Engine, etc…
