i liked the video but i noticed this wasn't your actual game play just spliced fottage.evedence is at Final Boss (Not Doomsday boss)where you defeat of the giant robot. Dr Eggman doesn'ot drop the emerald if you have all the emeralds required to unlock the Doomsday fight (Super Sonic or Hyper Sonic). if you watch your video back you claimed the master emerald twice.

The drill badnik in Lava Reef has a couple of names, including Rock Drill and Tunnelbot Mk. II. The armored variant in Sonic Mania is called Drillerdroid, but they're basically identical, so you could argue this one could also be called Drillerdroid too.

I've replayed S3&K countless times casually, and never knew about the big rings in FBZ.

I always assumed they didn't exist there because it was technically not on angel island, but in a sky fortress built by eggman, why would giant magic chaos emerald rings be there?

I really have no explanation to why knuckles threw a grenade into the floor of launch base. I would say "eggface trick borittu into thought speedy guy is baaad" but knuckles would have no reason to blow upp eggman's things then.

I think I never lost to the barrel of doom as a kid, couldn't complete Death Egg though.

I am doing this challenge with sonic and tails and it's actually not too bad. I'd say sonic 2 is almost harder.

Hydrocity was no joke though, and all the sonic 3 levels are SO MUCH HARDER than the sonic and knuckles levels.

My favorite Sonic zone is from Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Flying Battery Zone.

If you have to destroy the shell guy in hydro city zone than you cannot beat the game without killing a badnik. I think you missed th3 point
