I am croation and its a shame I have never been to croatia and now I turn 80 next month but watching is it so enjoyable. I do make afew croation dishes and every one loves them,a cottage cheese dumpling ,strukia spelling may be wrong it is a cheese and onion strudle a d I make potica its a walnut cake this is very time consuming on e Cnristmas I made 13

I think you are mixing East and West quite a lot here. Pula and Istria are in the West of Croatia, Osijek and Slavonia are in the East. 😂🤣😂

I am glad to see that you went to the Stancija Kumparička. If you managed to come earlier to Pula that day I would have take you to the fresh food market where they sell the Kumparička goat cheese, so you make a little contribution to their selling point in too. But anyway, you were lucky enough to see how they produce it. I love their cheese.

Do you know Captain von Trapp of famous american film The sound of music ( Cristopher Plummer and Julie Andrews) lived in Pula as an austrian officer before the first World War with his family and two of the seven children in the film were born in Pula ?
