I'm a victim of Toei too.
I tried to make a Little Witch Academia abridged series, and Toei took down the series despite it being a parody series.

I'm not even surprised, I wouldn't be surprised if the copyright fanart because they like their stinky money

Took a while to see this video but this is horrible. I think copyright strinking video from more then a year ago is bad in itself but also the fact that the striker can get the information of the creator then appealing the strike.

This really sucks to happen in the first place and it sucks even more because it happen basically during Christmas time and it wasn't even reviewed which is really saddening

I once got copyright strike for absolutely no reason and banned for almost 1 month. Lost a lot of progress, they need to fix this. This system cannot be abused.

Toei destroyed a Sailor Moon channel that posted clips of the old dub, which they do not even own. Her entire channel was taken and I’m sure she made bank off it.
Also, with the case of Mark, a change in management could sadly be the cause.

I got first copyright strike on my second channel for uploading Sailor Moon Eternal clip.

This specific problem with the system isn't new, is it? Did they changed anything in the past? Anything at all?

If I knew Japanese, I'd so badly want to advocate for the concept of fair use in Japan and explain why it's good for companies and users. 😔

Toei is pretty strict about their properties just as much if not more than Nintendo is. I think they still have a bug up their collective assholes about Team Four Star. Not saying for sure that's why this happened, but it seems plausible. I hope this guy gets his stuff restored
