What do you do if you call 911 and the call does not go through on a PBX and all you get is silence without a ring? Why would that happen on a Nortel system.

how many concurrent calls or connections can come in on one line? lets say I have a 1-911- 911-9111 and set up 5 ext. a call comes in and connects to ext 1. can another call come in that same number and be connected to ext 2 and so on and forth?

What happened to the free phone number? It's not giving me a free phone number.

So is ring roost is an online PBX system?

My Goal
I'll give my family living in the Philippines a local phone number in their area,
Once they call that local number my landline will ring in Canada.
Thus no long distance charge, is that workable\?

Can you do wake up calls for certain extensions?  Is there any way to dial 0 and it rings the office (or Secretary)?  In stead of the auto attendant can you have it ring one phone and then transfer to an extension.

I have the question to ask about the call forwarded option..........One user in office ask the call forwarded to their mobile from avaya ip phone ..........I made the call forwarded option. .....but it has one problem........If anyone call from their landline(local line) numbers to user is getting the calls to their mobile..............but the problem is if anyone calling from any mobilephones  usually it should have to go the destination (mobile phone).......but it not going to destination , the call is going to disconnect........
Can you please tell me why it going to happe and how to solve it......throughout office employees are facing same problem..........my mail I'd :[email protected] clarify me as soon on

the machine voice thing can you do that on a cell phone or does it have to be a house phone ??
