When I hear Subnautica I literally just have one brain cell in head going "uhhhhh...wata"
ОтветитьI love how you mixed in some elements of Mass Effect Theme 😁 Was that on purpose or do I hear a connection that isn't there?
ОтветитьThis is great! It would have been cool if you included obraxis prime and the other game that is in the same universe as subnautica (idk the name, but I think it has creatures called the kharra)

ОтветитьI love subnauticas lore so i instantly clicked (also I am so confused with BZ because like instructions are so unclear and the parts take so much time for al-an to tell you what to do)
ОтветитьNot far into the video but I know another game made by unknown worlds is about the kharaa evolving and taking control of a species
Ответитьnow imagine in subnautica 2 the architects survived get back on the planet 4546B to get the enzyme 42 then go out to the unverse and stop all bio weapons that altera is making
ОтветитьHow did the architects get infected when they threw their biological bodies for robotic ones?
ОтветитьFinally a lore video long enough to explain stuff but not to long so i die of old age before the video finishes thank you ❤
Ответитьi think big ass a scary sea monsters
ОтветитьI thought the architects brought the virus to the planet while looking for a cure, and it accidentally got out?
ОтветитьAmazing video! I enjoyed it a lot!
Although I thought Subnautica's lore was very consistent, logical and well-crafted while not being too over the top, your video made me realize that the events that took place when the Precursors settled at 4546B up until the outbreak aren't really that consistent and logical...
I guess some oversights can be justified. For example, you could argue that the half robotic half biologically perfect Precursors were killed by Kharaa because their biological parts weren't prepared to face the sickness, but I don't really buy it...
These mistakes don't make the story that we don't see in-game downright bad, but a little more implausible than I thought before watching your video. I still think that the Subnautica universe has great lore and you presented it super well in your video, yet you also made me think about the tiniest inconsistencies that I too had overlooked during my playthroughs.
Again, amazing video and thank you! Have a nice new year!
I have a question. What's the year that the altera invented the first waterproof swinging door? 😅❤
ОтветитьBro you are a funny dude I loved your explanation on this. Thank you🎉😂
ОтветитьMy first one was pod 13 😭
ОтветитьI never got to finish Below Zero as I played it during the Early Access. I need to go back and finish it.
ОтветитьCan’t wait for Subnautica 2 lore
ОтветитьThis game is honestly my nightmare scenario. I hate the ocean.
Really interesting lore though, great video
Has everyone if this was on the same time line and no miscalculations were made on the year the sea emperor is older than jesus and could he be affected by kharra
Ответитьi usually think of me and you cuddling in bed to sleep bbg
ОтветитьSadly i cant fight really any lore Videos to connect subnautica and natural selection
Ответитьthe ending scene of subanutica below zero is the coolest scene in the trilogy
ОтветитьIf any devs of subnautica 2 see this comment, hear me out, near the end of the story, give us a way to fight back against whatever horrible stuff you'll put us against since I'm positive you're gonna make something bigger than the gargantuan leviathan.
ОтветитьPeak
ОтветитьW Sea Emperor
ОтветитьI'm not sure if there will be one, but... SOMEONE MAKE A FUCKING SUBNAUTICA 3
ОтветитьI think Al-An's mistake would be one of Arrogance. Think about it with me for a second. Humans' fall is typically due to anger, pride, arrogance, etc. right? So, assuming that Al-An and the rest of the Precursors/Architects are capable of sentient thought (proven), then there is a chance that they are also subject to emotion (theory.)
If said Ancients were, lets say, prideful,... then their "supreme" intellect and advanced technology would have (logically) led to an arrogant assumption that they were safe and/or impervious to the attacks of the local fauna. Kind of like how the player assumes they are safe once they first enter the seamoth/prawn/cyclops. (TO WHICH WE QUICKLY LEARN THIS ISN'T THE CASE).
This could be due to the Architects' (presumably) not having a natural predator for over a certain period of time. But at the same time, wouldn't this inversly mean they were smart enough and more than capable of utilizing their technologies and intellect to avoid predation of other intellectual and non-intellectual species or being able to recognize threats and planning accordingly? So let's make an assumption that their long-standing peace led to an arrogant-fed downfall.
A small piece of evidence to support this is the pda entry when the player first enters the Enforcment Platform - "Scans indicate this structure is composed of a metal alloy with unprecedented integrity. No matches found in database. Performing structural analysis." Emphasis on "unprecedented integrity" as well as the next entry - "The facility's unknown construction material is identified as an ultra-hard, non-reactive metal amalgam, synthesized from offworld materials. There is no indication that it can be damaged or destroyed by available means."
Although the hole in this theory is that "available means" is indictative that we are only unaware of current capabilities to damage the structures.
However, there is also the possibility that the Architects simply made a miscalculation due to an oversight or error. After all, this is due to a "single" Architect's mistake after all. However, I find it hard to believe that a more advanced species capable of cybernetic enhancement and planetary quarantine would all but "vanish" due to a single miscalculation, but not impossible.
What do you guys think?
The architects were not worried about virus for them they were worried because it they used all the species on the planet to make their bodies and that means that by them getting infected, the planet would die, as said by Alan in below Zero, or was there another entry elsewhere that was missed?
Ответить“What’s the first thing that pops into your mind”
Uhh, water?
WATER
ОтветитьTo be fair as dumb as stealing the Sea Dragon Eggs were they were pretty much out of options and facing galactic extinction. I'd be trying random shit to
ОтветитьReaper Leviathan is first thing I thought of
ОтветитьDamn I want to watch this so bad but I just started replaying the first game (ive actually never finished the game in survival mode)
ОтветитьReapers taking my seamoths (I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE)
ОтветитьI didn’t understand 5/10 of the words you are saying, you keep changing from maida to marguerite its confusing
ОтветитьWho else is watching this to prepare for subnautica 2?
ОтветитьI wish normal subnauticas ending was as badass as subnautica below zeros is.
ОтветитьGreat video, thank you for spending the time to make it!
Ответитьhow does lore even happen in games, like how does people know everything about this before the game was set?
ОтветитьGreat work!! I'm not someone who pays a lot of attention to the story during gameplay if I don't HAVE to. Doesn't mean I don't want to know the story though, it just interrupts the flow of the game for me most of the time.
ОтветитьMight be even more lore soon, SUBNAUTICA 2!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьWell, I mean... Joe Biden literally traded the freedom of the guy "Lord Of War" was based on for "Brittney" Griner over a simple marijuana crime she committed, so... I hear you about "that's fucked up."
ОтветитьThis was really well made! Great video! :)
