I do not get why the model is so crappy

It is a shame such great software died!

So this may be a dumb question, but how the heck do I pan and zoom my view around the scene to see what I'm doing? I've tried changing selection modes, using LMB, RMB, MMB, etc. I can push the view up and down relative to the plane, but can't orbit around any objects I make.

I don't get it, it's way to hard to understand what they're saying.

does it requires high computer specs?
