Great they're paddling back. The last thing Unifi (known for no monthly fee) needs it’s to look like google, changing plans while flying.
I think the UID it’s a great product for a large company that’s need all the potential like LDAP, federated authentication etc. even better if you could pay once and skip OKTA.
If Ubiquiti is looking for monthly revenue, bring Talk to other countries (Brazil?) don’t be greedy, and don’t try to lock everything (like locking their phones with price hikes) I’ll would pay their subscription for a reasonable price. Not for a monthly number for each person. I’ll pay a small fee for each additional extensions. But when talk arrives I’ll be waiting. They’re becoming too greedy and will impact their sales on this kind of product that’s t
TRUST is needed.

ОтветитьThis is step one, step two is making us believe it, i really hope they double down and show us they actually made a mistake and not just showed the future we can expect with their products. I am all for them earning money on their products and whatever they host in their cloud. As long as they just enable the same features for local hosting, for free.

ОтветитьThis didn't go very well for them. They punched far above their weight class, turning their backs on the customers who actually use the stuff to enter a market they aren't qualified for.

ОтветитьUbiquiti has been improving on listening to customer feedback quite a lot over these last two years. Software has advanced greatly and services like this show that they care. Kudos!
