Have been a fan since 1997 the highlight of the Armored Core series was AC4 and ACFA when AC5 came out it was a humongous let down and AC6 is a tribute to yet another let down. A waste of money quite frankly. I’ve waited 10 years for this game and I’m just so depressed playing it due to the lack of parts. Not only is there a lack of parts, there are so many limiting factors that limit creativity which in turn makes the lightest builds; lack mobility? Some generators are barely usable? Most boosters provide very slow movement? Energy weapons do more impact damage than kinetic weapons? Energy weapons do more damage than kinetic weapons by a large amount? Energy doesn’t continuously regenerate ? Why does energy delay have a spot in this over bullet velocity? Bullet velocity as a stat doesn’t exist but it’s relevant depending on what weapons you use? So you never know bullet velocity, eh who cares… no flares? No problem we’ve limited mobility so much you can get hit by all missiles by all 3 players in a TDM lobby. It’s depressing to say this game pigeonholes people to play these mindless builds but the second you get creative “EN SHORTFALL” “OVERBURDENED”. Not Sure what this game has come to but it just doesn’t feel right anymore. I feel as if developers don’t want the game to grow, root-bounded is the perfect word for what has happened to this game…

I love Armored Core since the first part in the 90. and Fires of Rubicon feels like playing the cgi movies from the old parts of the series. 🤘😎

I wonder if Frome Software was inspired by Frank Herbert's dune. while playing the game, I noticed several similar elements. for example in a game, several corporations compete for a resource on a planet. in the dune, these are royal houses fighting for spice. there is also a faction in the game that uses this resource as a drug, just like in the book. even on the planet there is a local population fighting for independence. in the book they are Fremen. in the game, this faction even has a logo similar to the fremen from the dune (a person looking like a Bedouin in a turban). there are also underground worms in the game, although they are mechanical

Ooooh this game looking Hype. Here's a toast hoping that'll they make an Evangelion DLC. Imagine you taking your Mech too fight off some Angels and tango with Evangelion suits as well and using there armor and weapons . Brother that's an whole 2 to 4 hour of an alternative story and lore for both Amore Core and Evangelion. A $60 DLC I'm willing too pay for with these graphics shoo don't care if I see characters sprites or hear there voice.
