You guys make some awesome vlog that is so informative I don't have to do tons of my own research. Do you guys use cash or credit cards when eating at restaurants? Also, do you guys exchange small amounts to local currency or a few thousand at a time. Keep up the great work and thank you for all the great info. By the way, my wife and I will be traveling full time with our dog starting next year starting in Mexico then jumping over to Asia for a couple of years before heading to EU for a few years before deciding where to settle. 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻👍👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьI've been to Turkey twice. Most experiences were fine. Fine food lovely sceneries. Its great that there are Vegan Eateries. Best to check on prices before ordering. Also, what banks at home that are available in Turkey so Local currency can be obtained without being charged any commission as at ATMs. Thanks for the info. Enjoyed Yr video

I was scared to say I was Jewish. In turkey so if you are a jew try to avoid saying you are Jewish turkey being 93 percent Muslim there used to be an important synagogue and Jewish community in the ancient times. I really felt like a character out of Agatha christie enjoying smelling the tastes flavors of the orient people are nice in turkey I was surprised

ОтветитьNice video and very useful information. Thanks. And your dogs are fantastic!!!
ОтветитьDo I need insurance for only 10 days stay?
ОтветитьWhat is the situation with foreigners who are not vaccinated? Are they banned from restaurants, cafe etc..?? Do you need a negative covid test to get around.
ОтветитьIs the tip included in the meal? I lived in Turkey so long ago I don't remember.
Ответитьive been to that felafel house sooooo many times! great food great value! i love eating felafel.. they also make a nice wrap
ОтветитьIf a place needs to have people outside trying to get customers it’s never a good sign in any country. 👍🏻🏴
ОтветитьPlease remember, Turkey is a primarily a Muslim country and it's disrespectful to bring a dog in a place of eating !
ОтветитьHi guys thank you for the video, helpful info, great content. How do you travel the world with your two dogs, what are the ways of doing it and challenges
ОтветитьThank you, I love the dining reviews... they're important.
ОтветитьI was impressed that there was vegan food in Istanbul. As a vegan, it really limits travelling. Also, I wanted to tell you that Istanbul has. 2 of the most highly rated hospitals in the world.
ОтветитьGo to Kadikoy!
ОтветитьI'm in Turkey now, too. I love it but don't do the convert on the ATM! But the lira is getting stronger and prices have been going up so Turkey is not as cheap as it was.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing your experience! Appreciate the insight
ОтветитьFrom what I see you live on a high budget.
That's a lot of food, do you ask for a doggie bag ..
Just observing and comparing what can be, later on..
Love your Istanbul videos! ty!
Stay safe with the doggies! Do you share some of the food with them?
Any tip required? How was your room and cost?
ОтветитьThe salmon meal was only USA 6 with a huge salad, a pomegranate lemon drink and the salmon was twice as thick according to a Turkish vlogger (same time frame). Your meal total no more than 15 USA. Yeah, sure was way off !!
ОтветитьWhat a great find for Christmas day viewing,English but I live in Málaga Spain and plan on a few trips to Turkey, thank you you beautiful couple, happy Christmas
💃Feliz Navidad
for a tourist, is it best to exchange to TL on a daily/AM basis? or is it better to convert enough TL for the week or so?
Ответитьhey can you please share the location of Ellise food and drink place
ОтветитьThe guy who started filming dogs speaks Arabic. Probably some naïve Arab immigrant, in Arab culture it's so weird to treat animals with respect, they need probably 50 years to reach the level of Turks.
Ответитьtoo many commercial pop ups
ОтветитьI'm not sure if I mentioned it before, but it's quite endearing to see how you both treat animals.. It say's much about someone who treats animals with love and respect!
ОтветитьWarren, you referred to yourself as a vegetarian at the Falafel House, but a few moments earlier you were eating fish. Fish is definitely not vegetarian. Are you a pescatarian? When fish eaters call themselves vegetarian, actual vegetarians sadly often find themselves being served fish. Fish are animals with flesh who still suffer, feel pain, and bleed just like land animals. I've really been enjoying your videos and learning a lot about possible places to early retire. I recently spent a week in Taksim and enjoyed seeing familiar sites. But this faux pas really disappointed me. 😞
ОтветитьI’m contemplating a move to Turkey in 2022, but I’m afraid inflation is going to run very high and prices won’t be as cheap. I would love to see some revisits of the same places in this video in a few weeks/months to see how prices are doing in comparison. Erdogan just announced a 50% salary increase to minimum wage earners. Things are not looking good as economy will start pricing things in USD.
Thank you!
It’s great to meet with you dear awesome family ,you are whole with lovelly dogs ,love you ❤️
ОтветитьI'm from turkey . i don't know you went Güllüoğlu Karaköy you need to go. Pls go famous places or you can overpay. 5 dolar for this sweet it so overpay .it's maximum 1.5 dolar
ОтветитьHi guys, I have to think that everything around that central tourist area is the most expensive you'll find in all of Turkey. Hopefully the quality is also good, as it seems to be.
My recollection of typical restaurants there was 3 large containers of thick stew and a container of rice. Pick one stew and put that over the rice and there you have it. This would have been out in the hinterlands, not Taksim Square.
Nice haircut. Suits you.😉
Ответить"Istanbul was Constantinople
Now it's Istanbul, not Constantinople
Been a long time gone, oh Constantinople
Why did Constantinople get the works?
That's nobody's business but the Turks..." - They Might Be Giants
That pizza looks delicious! How much was the pizza alone?
ОтветитьWill stay away from seafoods.
Hate places market value for seafood.
Rather it be fixed price on the menu complete meal.
Phenomenal quality to price ratio.
ОтветитьIn addition to all the great information you present, I LOVE how Aria and Katie make such stunning cameos in your vids.
ОтветитьThank you so much for showing us these places! 🥰
ОтветитьWas he serving Cheese Curds! Lol! We’re big Viking fans ( I don’t know why) but anyway got a chuckle to see his hoodie over there.
Julie! Turkish charcuterie board. Are the desserts normally that plentiful or is it because of the Holidays? Looks Delish.
