How much will an authorized user increase your credit score? My experience adding an authorized user

Do you have any ideas on why my score went from zero to 662 ?? Never had credit or any credit card but my sister added me as an AU on her card 8 months ago and it was still not showing no score until I applied to a secured card and received it .. her credit usage on that card is 7% since she barely use it .. my question is .. is the score i have is because of her adding me as AU or for me having my secured card ?

My sister added me on her american express card as a authorized user and after a few weeks i got a 110 point increase.

Can I add myself as an au on one of my cards?

My mom has three cards I believe from capital one. She’s going to add me as an AU. She’s going to add me on two of them or all three possibly. She’s had these cards for 18-20 years! So I’m hoping for a big jump. Wondering how long I might see it on my report? I’m thinking 30 days or a couple of weeks.

I’m at 700 in Expirian and threw credit Karma is 887 for the other 2 credit scores. Was thinking of being added to my fiancé’s credit card, that he has had for 3 years. Not sure yet. It can boost up to 100+ points but the person that is placing you as an authorize user have to have at least 10 years credit history with that card. I became an authorize user in one of my mother’s American Express blue she has for 24 years with a line of credit if $30 J and I got 124 points increase I thank her forever Bc with her I join the 820 credit score club 😃☺️

Why are you doing an authorized user with a 750 score?

I already have pretty good credit,in the 700s and occasionally gets into the 800s) but I had my dad add me to his AMEX card since he’s had it for 30 years. About a week ago it showed up as a new account for me. So far it hasn’t increased my credit score at all but it is showing that I have an extra $30,000 of credit from his card, but it’s not showing that I have another 30 years of credit history

My spouse is a doyen. We have really done a few good on our credit reports. We have been trying to raise our scores to mid-800 his score is 519 while mine is still in the high 500’s. (I think is 536 currently.) I also have a judgement against me for a credit card. The judgement doesn’t appear anymore on my credit report, I assume because it’s over 6 years old. I’m pretty sure it didn’t just “go away”. Good luck I have no experience with AU, however the trust factor must be there. Keep in mind the balance must be $0 to take remove your name from the account
