I cant get a display when I have my hdmi or displayport are connected to my 4070 ti but I can get display when connected to my motherboard.. any thoughts on what i could do? (i've tried reconnecting my gpu to motherboard)

1) Is there an advantage to either updating Bios before or after installing the OS?
You recommend Enabling the XMP for the RAM, and installing the OS, before updating the Bios? Thanks!

Great video, but I personally had the problem that turning on the XMP profile for the ram before even installing windows completely messed up the bios and it started to freeze and windows installation went into a direct blue screen, also changing back didn't save. Resetting the bios and leaving the ram on lower MHz for now fixed the problem. Found this to be the reason since several people on the Internet experienced that before.

Just built my first PC last night and I thought everything was setup correctly but there was no display, the pc turned on and the fans were spinning, RGB ram was lit up but the only thing I didint do was connect the mouse and key board as I didint think I’d need to press delete button a bunch of times, gonna try later tonight and hopefully that’s all it needs 😅 if so your a life saver as I’ve watched many other videos on why it won’t display and nobody mentioned you might have to press delete button a bunch of times.

Idk what to do. I'm on the step of installing windows and it gets to the internet connection part, nothing. I have a working ethernet cable, and just.. nothing. It just doesn't work. So I can't advance. I can't access anything or log into a Microsoft account
