Hope you assist with my fog lights wiring. I have a 2010 tundra and installed them myself. So the fog lights already comes as a kit with fuse and rely. Now my fog lights are not working. No power from the switch inside the cabin and the fuse inside the engine bay is good .what could cause my fog lights not to turn on , please advise thank you

Great video very informative. I have a question instead of using a switch inside the car can you tap off of the high or low beam head light wire or a side marker. Thanks
ОтветитьVery nice video keep up the good
ОтветитьGreat video, can I use this same method to add underglow led lights to my car?
ОтветитьGreat help thank your and a perfect hilarious ending
ОтветитьGreat video.I actually have that same harness you guys are demonstrating. My question is I assume the way you show the switch will have constact power from the battery, how would you wire it so it doesn't?
Ответитьwhy didn't the lady show us how to wire up the switch wires// there are 3 wires off the switch. you did not show how its wired. you went straight to putting the lights on
ОтветитьHow does that not drain the battery. I have some lights someone wired up before me and they drained the battery every night until I just unhooked them
ОтветитьHave a general electrical question about wiring in SPST on-off switch to aftermarket driving lights. In VA these lights can only come on when the low beams are active, so I will have a wire as a trigger from the headlights connecting to the relay lead for the normal on/off switch. I don't want to sue them all the time, as in city driving so, I am installing an old school high beam foot switch on the floor board to turn them on'off only when low beams are on.
Question:
What lead/wire to the relay do I install the switch inline The wire from the trigger wire that would be the normal on/off switch (makes sense), the fused 12VDC power in, the chassis ground, or the power out to the driving lights. Seems any of these would work, but not sure if one is optimal.
I bought a bumper for my 21 Wrangler Sport without LED package. The new bumper has four LED lights to replace the original 2 halogen fog lights. Each LED has its own Rd/Blk wire. I would like to somehow connect those wires to the original fog light wiring harness that has that connector. This way they will all be controlled by the vehicle fog light button. Anyone have a video to refer me to??
ОтветитьWhat kit do you recommend that's under $40. I'm having trouble finding a wire harness kit that has the switch included. I have an 06 tundra
ОтветитьCan this harness be used if the regular headlights stopped working ?
Ответитьi like in this movie you told us how you were about to put the fuse in long with the adapter you're making with the pigtail screw inside of your truck you know half the E bike builders that put these E bikes together and ship them they ship it with the fuse intact into the battery and then they don't describe where the fuse is so you can find it and pull it out yourself that's why they're all Catching Fire can you please describe this to the ebike builders and describe why they should not have a freaking fuse do you light their E bike on fire before it gets to your house door step shipped fully charged with fuse in spot and without proply having a language barier on the shop to pay to get slamed the door when they continue the bike sales on internet only no shop will work on any name builders bike only new ones.
ОтветитьGreat instructional video!
ОтветитьYou didn't show in close up .
ОтветитьThis is the beat explanation video I've seen yet for the light hookup. Thank you! Also the bloopers were hilarious at the end 😂
ОтветитьPerfect demonstration, well done guys👌🏽👍🏽👍🏽
ОтветитьLIfe savers , thanks!!
ОтветитьHello there,
Question I would like to install a on off switch for my existing lights on my riding lawn mower. What steps do I need to take please advise thank you.
I may have done something wrong. It keeps popping fuses.
ОтветитьPerfect..looks like the same wiring harness for a DV8 Light bar. And that's what I'm installing. 💪
ОтветитьHow do you wire this up if you battery is located in the back of the vehicle?
ОтветитьThank you for this great video helping me to install my lights. The only question I have is how do you penetrate the switch wiring through the firewall. I only have an existing wiring rubber boot(already loaded with a bunch of wires). I can poke a hole through the robber and fish the wire through, but not the switch (too big) or the wire connecting harness (too big as well). Any suggestions? Thanks
ОтветитьI read through most of the comments. I found that you do not reply to questions /concerns. You replied to the compliments. Hope this platform can be more helpful !
ОтветитьSo I got my harness in and followed all instructions but when I turn it on the fuse blows should I try a 50A fuse or get a new harness
ОтветитьThat is a very poor ground, you should've put it between the relay and the body and sanded the paint away on the body.
ОтветитьI have pre-installed aux switches in my bronco and I have a wiring harness for four ditch lights. The wiring harness has a switch and a relay. And I'm wondering where do I cut on the harness to attach to the ox switch and ground? Do I cut where the switch is and use those two wires or do I cut somewhere else on the harness like where the battery wires are at? I'm confused on how to do this and can't find any answers even from the company I bought these from.
ОтветитьThat was enjoyable!
Ответитьthey are some nice lights but I think the modern yellow led lights are not very yellow like the French ones were in the old days they were nice and were really good in snowy weather and in foggy weather
ОтветитьWhat if i have two red wires and two grounds?
ОтветитьThanks guys; best DIY video with very simple slowly explanation and diagram. Keep it up
Ответитьstupid question. I am thinking about doing a lasfit box for multiple lights. I have not seen anyone show how the lights are connected to the lasfit box. any ideas?
ОтветитьThere are two extra / shorter wires coming off the main wires that connect to light bar…. What are those for ? I understand the rest of the harness… but what are those two shorter ones for ?
ОтветитьMines did not come with a connector and when i connected positive and negative to power source they did not come on
ОтветитьGoid video, would have liked to see adrawing or schematic.
ОтветитьYou did her dirty on that edit.
Ответитьthanks guys i needed a refresher...
ОтветитьI want to live in your garage.
This is exactly what I've been looking for!
Thank you, and please do more of these!
Guys this was great.
Ответитьamazing tutorial, i needed that extra explain about relay as well!
ОтветитьI have a very similar harness with the same button/switch. I believe I wired it correctly but the little red light on the switch is always on, even when the vehicle is off. Is this normal or should it not be drawing constant power like that?
ОтветитьHow do I wire it if I want
the fog lights to go off when I turn the key off?
Great Video Thank you, I really needed this great advice on using these wiring harnesses.
ОтветитьI must say (Oz boy here), I have viewed a lot of light wiring videos and I vote yours as the most well presented.
Ответитьwhere did you attach the little fuse box on the red wire? It seems to have a structure meant for mounting.
