If we know by Genysis or onwards that T1000 units are vulnerable to concentrated acid such as HCl ... why didnt the T800 perhaps have done some homework and advised John or Sarah of the weakness to acid or atleast tried to acquire some acid e.g. a container of concentrated acid to supplement Sarahs arsenal and or luring the T1000 to a chemical plant or factory and such....

This, along with the ensuing motorcycle/big rig chase might be the greatest action sequence ever captured on film. T2 is a truly timeless classic. One of, if not the absolute best action movies of all time. It not only holds up 30 years later, it's barely been surpassed by only a select few movies.

Fun Fact:
The guy with the camera is actually 1L19 from the 1st movie.

It's apt that of all arcade games, John chose Missile Command.

The most unrealistic part of this scene is a Honda XR not starting on first kick. What a fucking bike. Bulletproof.

I love how the two terminators don't speak to one another when the fight kicks off. They just stick to their objectives. No point in words.

This screams early 90s and I love it

I love the fact that it wasn’t actually the Terminator pulling out a gun that made John pause, but just his appearance alone. You know for a fact Sarah would’ve drilled John time and time again with stories of her encounter with the previous T-800, describing things like how he looked and dressed, so to see John immediately begin to suspect something’s up with that particular man is a really nice detail.

T2 was an absolute masterpiece, it had elements of horror, suspense, action, emotion and storytelling, t2 is one of those films that can be rewatched 100s of times.

Much like LoTR, this is one of those films that aged like fine wine.

Did you know at first James Cameron was gonna have a big muscular man like Arnold play t-1000 but he changed his mind and thought it would work better with a slim built man like Robert Patrick. He did the right thing
