you should just be able to edit creatures allowed in pvp.. cause none of these seem as annoying in literally any other game mode and actually add to the game 😭 like yes threats are meant to be threatening ofc

For me Microraptor and Cnidaria should be in the list, Cnidaria for how it makes everything over than the Basilo non-viable for caves (constant stun-lock is not a fun game mechanic) and Microraptor because its so hard to spot that getting killed because of it just feels unfair. If i get jumped and killed by a Purlovia, or a Thylacoleo, or a Kaprosuchus its my fault for not paying attention, its annoying but i can accept there were things i could/should have done to avoid it.

A microraptor, hidden in a bush or glitched into a rock punting you off your mount in the middle of a fight feels like pure BS from the game.

I would've swapped the Ichthy for the Pego. I always get an icthy for taming an otter.

Ichytornis may be annoying, but I love how much spice this creature added to my first steps in Ark. A bow shootout against one of those birds circling around my very first base is a warmly remembered highlight of my beginnings. They should most definitely stay!

How did the Titanoboa not make this list? Absolutely useless as a tame, annoying in the early game and their only real is use for tribute items.

I would be happy if they took out all creatures that aren’t Dinos or Wyverns.

REMOVE TERRORBIRDS
literally just raptors but faster, more damage, bigger packs, more common, and overall more annoying. shit creature and encountering these when not properly armed is such a pain.

Microraptor? Pegomastax? Terror bird? Sabertooth? Kentro? Amarga? Crystal wyvern? Maewing? Astrocetus? Voidwyrm? Kapro? Diplocaulus? Leach? Diplodocus?

I can understand some of these tames, the issue with some of these tames is simple, under normal means lets say on a PVP server, you are using this tames for final boss or dicking around with the wild life, the space dolphin is a good example as simply put, if a tribe reaches tek tier, that is it, everyone is leaving or transferring off, there is no Arial PVP combat.
The shadow mane certainly has to much going on but it feels like an easy tame with little requirement. Sure tedious but once tame there is too much.

The Lio don (Fuck naming), is a case of rare upon rare, the best to describe it is like an old fashion RPG with random encounter, the Lio is a rare item drop on a rare random encounter. I think this can be improved if the Lio was hard to kill, like able to shoot lightning from its skin if you do to much melee hits and you can get a special blubber or oil which has a decay rate and upon eating, you get the buff. High level players maybe able ot tame this but they have good blueprints under normal means without.
Maybe taming allows you to harvest fresh magic oil or something which lasts way longer but if consumed, yes you do get rare items but creatures will be gunning for you.

Meks, ok these were just there and were rebalanced several times, but someone once said, Ark was once a dino survival game with sci fi elements, not Ark is a Sci fi survival game with dinos.
Bug swarm, never played Genesis 1 but I hear that the hardest biome is the easiest for unknown reasons, the bug swarm is just a swarm of aggressive dragon flies and nothing more. Sort of wasted space and resources.

The Seagul, nothing more but to be an annoyance and like you said, they are too frequent.

If a creature badly affects PvP then remove it for that. Don't spoil it for the PvE players. I love the shadowmanes because they are so great for everything. The perfect travel mount but also a good army.

Anything I cant easilie beat in PVP + Liopleurodon. There, just saved you 12 minutes

Tbh i disagree with all these except the tek stryder. One thing ive learned is the most over powered tame in ark is other players. Not one of the tames on this list will give you a chance in hell against a mega tribe and their unlimited cruelty. I also think most of these wouldnt be so bad if breeding wasnt so ridiculously over powered.

Astrodelphis is my favorite creature in ark so I'd say no

Where the heck is troodon .... i wish only death to those creatures .... 1 of my encounters with them was when i just got my REALLY good flak armor, well i encounter pack of troodons at night and well the get me ... well i got careless thats on me ... BUT because my armor ... and my tank HP build it took legit 15min about to do anything to me .... i ws laying there 15 MINS on the ground not able to do ANYTHING

Nonsense, if not for these creatures, pvp in the game would not have become so dynamic and so diverse, judging by this video, we all have to fly on Argentavis, Pteranodons and Quetzals throughout the game and grab enemies with them

I definitely disagree with mana! It’s one of my favorite creatures in game and is super good for travel! I’ve never personally tamed a shadowmane but I love them aswell simply due to their design and abilities. Itchy also seems much too useful to make this list if you ask me, since you can get prime meat quickly for any tame but just having it kill a dodo!

How are micro raptors not on this

If the ichy did steal entire stacks of food i feel like it'd be less annoying. How many times have you been traveling and one of them just said oh hey nice stack of meat or nice stack of custom made food only to steal ALL of it at once. another thing is they almost NEVER miss their swoop so once you hear the swoop you know you're basically losing something. its reasons like this that i wish ark included something like "fear of fire" to smaller creatures. also surprised troodons werent on this list if i'm being honest.

Calling it right now, I HATE the PEGOMASTAX just want it erased. Including the Micro RAPTOR

Shadow, mana and mechs definitely made me leave the game. I started ark as a Jurassic Park fanboy and loved the survival aspect. The more tek and fantasy that got added the more I fell out of love with the game. It's just moved in a direction that I didn't enjoy. Shame.

I mainly play on private servers with friends so I fortunately didn't have to deal with all the broken PvP dinos. But I can say that the Ichtyornis is one of the few dinos we deleted from server. Them eating entire stacks of narcotics in a singe attack was the most annoying thing ever and it didn't help that they were pretty much everywhere on the beach (unless they nerfed that down the line).

The Eel, Badger, Jellyfish and etc are annoying but at least they keep me on my toes and keep the game feeling threatening even at endgame.

Another honorable mention would be the Leedsichthys, as they pretty much killed house boats in Ark which was something I enjoyed making.

The worst about the Ichthyornis is the fact it cannot be hit alot of the time, shits simply dont register.

It almost made me quit the game outright multiple times.

If you want to craft extraordinary kibble you tame Yutis (present on pretty much every map) or Maewings if you can, you dont need to go a convoluted route of taming ichtyornis to tame hesperonis what kind of laughable nonsense is this or is it just a roleplaying thing? Man I dont envy people who learn to play ark from this channel.

How in the hell did Leedsichthys not make this list? I literally edit my ini's to remove it completely. It was like the devs hated that people built on rafts so they made something to make rafts obsolete.

Meks shouldn't be allowed on PVP servers. But its great for PVE

Honestly, Genesis 1 and 2 are not Ark. They are a whole different game built on the foundation of Ark, made up of minigames required to even progress the story. Its hot garbage and I wouldn't mind seeing everything in it removed.

It would be AWESOME if the electric eels could recharge your electric rod with a hefty cooldown and recharging up to like 5 durability, it would make them at least a bit more useful

I think number one should stay just have it not able to steal certain items or disarm. Losing a full stack of narcos to a bird and not even knocking it out sucks early game

I think the eels could actually be really useful. They could work as underwater generators, maybe having a special building piece that, when placed in water with an eel within a certain range, will generate power for free, or they could be made useful in combat by having a special equipment piece made out of conductive material that boosts their electric powers

Remove the ichthy bird & the pegos permanently.
