I have so many favorites from the "Rock The World" album.. this is one of them. It compliments the album very well. Wish They had done a music video for Godsend. Such beautful music.

It is a brand new world. Never heard this song. Yep its very rock"y but hey ho, they had to change, why not? Its not a bad song. I think it had longevity. It works today. Testament to evidence and power of video... maybe the song could be reworked?

I was just envelope with safeness watching these guys . It reminded me of my teen years in west Africa . How we admire and watch dem . 84-87. VCR tech was new . The 80!s was great decades just wished I had enjoyed myself more . Cus after I came to de states late 80’s I never enjoyed my youth . Full of slavery work life . Now I see myself wasting away in American gulag life . Almost like Siberia . Work work work no sleep . 33years . Getting older without enjoying my life. I miss de group . Great songs . The Jackson 5 of Britain .

UK music magazine Smash Hits complimented Deniece and Five Star on this record at the time.

People say it was ahead of it's time, but I don't agree. Heart and Europe had massive rock pop hits in 1986. To me, what pushed Fice Star down was the notorious interview when they showed their mansion and their cars. It just didn't sit well with the British public. Buster was a clever guy,but he made a huge mistake on this one. Unemployment was high in the UK at the time and it looked as if the group was shoving it in people faces. They weren't of course, though.
