Jake. This is one of the best ‘how it works ’ type videos I’ve seen. No doubt your ‘animagrafs’ here are expertly crafted -world class. Hat’s off. It’s world class because I can’t imagine a better narration, the voice soothingly delivering a well thought explanation with a deliberate, steady pace. I can’t wait to watch the rest of your videos.

I have known about dynamic speakers like this for a very long time but it is just recently that I have read (that I remember) and heard of these speakers and the magnet/electromagnets compared to or called a motor but it is true by technical definition. A motor doesn't have to spin to be a motor.

Trust me: I have done amateur Loudspeaker Design for 25 years and invested thousands of dollars. I am FASCINATED with magnetism/motors. Congratulations on a FANTASTIC explanation which goes into a ton of detail for only ten minutes!!

Your presentation ignores the moving magnet loudspeaker which accomplishes the same electrical-to-sound conversion with a moving magnet instead of the moving coil which you describe. Fleming’s left hand rule for motors applies equally to either the moving coil or moving magnet configuration about which I am speaking. I would be delighted to supply you with the information you are missing.

Besides infinity woofers cmmd, not much improvement attempts in this space to keep woofer material from distorting.

The piano is flat compared to the guitar. Once can hear the beats between them when they're combined in the vid.

Ive been using blender but I wonder how do you get the clear parts relative to the solid parts in shading and materials. Obviously I think you have to link the movement of one part to another. I suspect this is the easiest one of your projects. I'd love to have a go at doing a video like this on my channel.

I'm more amazed at how a speaker makes mutiple sound simultaneously... i guess it works the same but it blows my mind.

This is awesome! Thanks for the video! Now my only question is who the heck discovered how to do this and Invented speakers to begin with? How did we get from just this to the giant horn looking piece from a record to speakers?

It absolutely blows my mind that when we listen to music, all we can hear at once - voice, guitar, drums, springs, horn, percussion - all boils down to one composite electrical signal. Like music seems too complex to be replicated that easily.

Excellent video! The G note depicted on the guitar is played on the open E string. That note is actually an E, unless the guitar is way out of tune. Your illustration makes perfect sense though. Thanks!
