Pikmin 1 and 2 were my childhood on Gamecube. Was hard to sleep after thinking about all the Pikmin I had to sacrifice to meet an objective, though. Or watching all the pikmin you left behind and couldn't find because of the time limit run towards your ship as you took off and then get eaten by the bugs

My 5 year old nephew has been playing pikmin, and he's nearly made it to Serene Shores now. It's adorable to see how much he cares about his pikmin- personally bringing them back to the onion and making sure they're safe every night.

I JUST HAD THE BEST IDEA!!!!!

You do a green beret game, and you model it after pikmin. You have campaigns you can select from in all sorts of environments, you embed with like some fucking rice farmers, and you fight aliens or some shit. Like a cross between pikmin and maybe Xcom.

But like that's the bit with pikmin yeah? You crash land and have to recruit a bunch of weird alien plant people? I never played it.

thanks for this review man got a switch just to play this because of your review and i have to say this is the first single player game ive really enjoyed since red dead 2, im probly gonna buy the pikmin 1+2 bundle for the switch after i beat 4

Man 2023 has been a great year to be a gamer we are all eating well that's for sure

I felt so validated when Dunkey pointed out the ridiculous interruptions in the beginning of the game. It was like when I first got mario kat 8 on switch and didn't know you could turn off the auto-steer..

This game was so good that it was the first time I literally could not put down a game. Every day until I beat the entire game I woke up and said "Holy shit dude I gotta play Pikmin" and played until the sun set it was insane

I was never interested in Pikmin, but Dunkey told me how it is and how it’s going to be.

I played Pikmin 3 and was somewhat left empty by its length. But this game real good. It’s amazing how good it is. Oatchi is scientifically the cutest thing in existence.

Dunkey - as a non-gamer (haven't played pikmin), is this just a better overlord? Or is the "followers" just the only thing in common?
