My name is Dennis Caco and I am passionate about cars, racing, and making comic books and in 1998 I helped design Import Tuner Magazine, and combined my love for cars and comics to create Max Boost which was a monthly feature in the magazine.

Yes, Max Boost is now 20 YEARS OLD and was born during the heyday of import culture Supras, Rx7s, GTOs, GTRs NSXs - waaaayyyy before Fast and The Furious!

So, after we launched Import Tuner, we realized that Max Boost was a ABSOLUTE HIT with the readers, and MANY people subscribed to the magazine because of Max Boost. And over the years, the magazine grew, and the Max Boost Fanbase grew with it.

Additionally, the entire Import Tuner Culture started to become something. When I became a tuner in the early 90's, NO ONE believed that this culture would last and they thought that it was a fad.

Now, 20 years later, the culture has established itself and is as vibrant as ever. Which is why I decided it was time to bring back Max Boost for the original generation of readers, as well as new fans alike.

So - for the first time ever, ONLY here on Kickstarter, the long lost issues of Max Boost have been put into a collectible volume, plus new artwork, over 150 PAGES (first 4 years), so you don't have to spend $1000 on eBay to find all the old issues of Import Tuner - which is basically impossible - just to read it.

So I would hope that you would take a look, and "back this project", and help us make this Max Boost, Volume 1 a reality!
