My favorite Derby win ever. But they blew the call though nobody in the booth mentions mine that bird till the race was over.

Mine That Bird came second in the Peakness—— he was beaten by a length by a FILLY! Quite the year was 2009. A FILLY winning the Preakness.

Yes where was the commentator not seeing MineThat Bird……bad call, eyes and mind missing the blast run of that Bird horse, just leaving them in the dust or mud. Incredible!!!

Dam . That bump of chicken feed the horse got on the way into the shoot. Was delayed and kicked in on the last turn . Lol

Everyone is talking about the announcer somehow not seeing Mind That Bird, but what about that horse. Halfway through the final turn he found a passing gear. He was leaving the rest of the horses by strides and strides I thought it looked almost magical. Then near the finish he pointed back to someone just to rub their nose in his dust(slop). Just a stellar horse performance!!

Hope that announcer got his walking papers after this race. He must have had cataracts to not see that horse come blasting out of the pack until the race was practically over.

Worst call ever

It like Mine that Bird got a Daytona draft assistance to the lead awesome. Horrible call tho .

Can Larry Collmus redo the call on this please!?
