I realise that this is now quite an old video but these vehicles are really very special. Together with the new Discoveries, Volvo XC90 etc they are an awful lot of car for the money. I know that the Tiguan is a lot cheaper but if you spec it up to the level of the Toureg, there isn't that much in it. This is a much more sophisticated off-roader.

What is happen with vw touareg for UK market? There is no "ESCAPE" trim anymore and 4XMOTION seem has been omitted too. WHY??

Thank you for creating a new level of car reviews. After initially not even considering Volkswagen, I bought a new model Touareg - with air suspension etc. - two weeks ago, helped by your review. And I can certainly support your impression of the interior and drive - very happy with the car.

Very good reviews! I must say that your tests are one of the best. I like your testing style a lot, simple but in the same time complete, so everybody can understand and make a opinion about the car you test. I have a suggestion, if it is possible and i think many people would apreciate if you can change the language of the multimedia system of the car in english from german. Good luck and keep up the good work!!

Good review, but it's a pity the off road track is so umm mild, The Touareg is capable of much more than that.

Very nice car review! And I love the deep blue color as well. VW is still new in the Philippines, I hope it would pick up here and add more to their line-up. Still pricey since the Touareg and Tiguan is shipped all the way from Germany. I wish to own one someday. :) 

Great video and I'm glad to see VW realizing their full potential as a near luxury car company. The video really makes me want to get the 2015 Touareg, but perhaps in R-Line trim.

What a fantastic vehicle! Will I be able to get a Touareg TDI with the offroad goodies here in the United States?  I had a first generation Touareg; it was the nicest car I have ever had.  However, when VW stopped offering the offroad options in the US, it no longer served my purposes.
