You Should Really Understand This In Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous (Beginner's Guide)

with 2 complete playthroughs of this game i can say with confidence that this mechanic made absolutely no difference in how i played and was more of a non issue then anything else. never got to stage 1 so not sure what the downsides are of it. the ability to teleport back to town to rest made this feature completely pointless.

Way to many mechanics in this game - saps the fun you could be having. I'll never finish this game, but will enjoy trying out the different classes. Need a PHD in pathfinder to play and takes too long to learn it all, let alone remember any of it.

This is just a tedium mechanic. One time I was forced to get rid of like 60% of my inventory because of corruption 2 debuff, had to reload and having to cope with slow movement...

Has anyone made a map of the various resting safe spots? I just got into Chapter 2, and I don't see anything that looks like a resting hub within 3 mandatory rests of the starter camp.That means 3 rests on the way out and 3 on the way back, which is a LOT of corruption.

If only the actual game explained this system that well…

I just started my first run, and after seeing how useful it is, I am totally scribing Create Hole scrolls every time I rest.

Crafting would have been a bit more fun and useful in game if every single useful potion and scroll didn't both require at least one of the same two ingredients, or at least distributed them differently. Often can't even craft at all during a rest because they run out so quickly

The real "timer" lies in the best secret ending. Corruption is very manageable and when you know how to build your companions, its negligible considering you can teleport and that you can create 2 characters with specialized anticorruption building, e.g. very high Wisdom and Religion stats, like classes or feats that increase Religion proficiency. You can rest twice on unfair and not care about corruption for a extended period.

But one thing is still not fixed: wielding a Dueling Sword without Exotic Weapon Proficiency as a normal Longsword. And the Piranha Strike only applies to light weapons, not finesse weapons. For heave finesse weapons you need power attack and therefore STR 13.

let's be honest, is just an annoying mechanic and a lot of people just don't appreciate it at all. Like all the crusader stuff.

Pathfinder 1e isn't my favorite rpg system anymore, but definitely much warmer of it than D&D 5e and I do still love 1e and this game :D I do think owlcat could try to avoid patching system's fault with ridiculously buffed optional enemies though, dealing with ac 70 touch ac 40 isn't really fun experience even if on super high levels with all bufs its manageable :'D

For the longest time, I thought those glowing points were something to do with raising my mythic rank. By the time I realized what they did I was already punching corruption away from my camp (after punching it out of my soul)

Its just annoying, nothing else.

It's nice to see them care about the community, one of the perks of still being a small studio I guess. The game on the other hand is just plain MASSIVE, finished my first run at the 190h mark. Now I'm scared to start again :D

I've reached Mythic Rank 3 but all i can choose is Azata. Everything else is greyed out but i've followed the guides to get Angel, Aeon, Trickster and lich. Is this a bug?

Да, я понимаю что развитие персонажей можно "заруинить", сложность можно понизить или вообще пройти мимо большинства подобных мобов. Но такие мобы почти полностью сводят на нет удовольствие от игры, имхо. Я играю на "суровом", в целом всё отлично. Некоторые мобы "падают сами", некоторые вполне могут представлять опасность. Но такие вот встречи с ненормально раскаченными мобами расстраивают, увы

I always find resting in these games to be an odd prospect. I perhaps play these games differently than most in that I almost never rest until my entire party is exhausted and completely out of spells.... and even then only when I have too. A lot of people seem to rest after every fight. Maybe I'm doing it wrong. :P

Anyway, great game so far, though not w/o it's issues. I think giving every enemy in the game DR and spell res really makes casters almost worthless in the early parts of the game. But more to the topic at hand, I wish Owlcat would expand the banter dialogues a bit. They always feel slightly cut off to me. I think it would really benefit from having the first speaker respond to what was said back to them, to at least acknowledge it and close out the conversation.

A Month after Release... hmh. Way too late! Should have been out before Release.
I can only hope that it will be much more in-Depth than this. I called for a big Guide days after Release.
If it is under 1 Hour, I am very skeptical if they can explain it as it needs to be explained.

I'm not playing this yet, still on the fence but what she describes here is a mechanic that is likely to tip me towards not playing it, this simply seems to be a time-waster without any positive benefits to gameplay as I understand it right now.

this actually looks a lot better in video than it does in my playthrough. I guess it must be the graphics turned all the way up.

embarrassed to say only figured out the other day how you can have someone assist you with your resting task, Also can someone tell me how to craft tier 4 spells as it says I need 2 bars to complete and I only reach one bar??

I actually had no idea what cleansing the sites did. I usually planned my forays into the world wound in ways in which corruption seldom was an issue. Short couple of days raids really. So i didn't notice that the corruption went away if you cleansed a place. Good info!
