Special forces are something else after all. I would personally try to hide in the rafters, if it was to hide in a house though. Easy point of observation, can easily move around, and hard to spot. The thing about hide and seek is that it is best to move around, and change your hiding spot, to the places that were already searched before. When they go to the place you've hidden but they missed you, they might come back. So best way is to prepare several hiding spots, and move around, so that when they checked one spot, you move to another.

And I know that by telling it, people might know that I could hide in the rafters, but they could always know that you hid in a certain places. There is finite amount of places to hide, problem is checking them all.
