I love to paint storage chests with an appropiate color ideally matching the contents. Even if that is not possible, you still can later remember: Stone is right from the second black chest from the left. Really easy to remember, especially if you set it up yourself. Nothing is worse then having a wall of chests with all the same color.

I usually split my first 14-16 levels evenly between weight and movement speed, then add to health and stamina while still adding to the first two till i have about 150 speed and 300-350 weight, then add to fortitude and crafting skill to help speed craft things like ammo and make better recipes

Also, at the start of the game, I use to hoard a bunch of stuff but since I was still to low to build any plant x, I would get raided over night and loose all of it. I then started to just get enough to make it thru my play session so that if I get raided. They don't have much to steal. And now I leave the boxes unpinned so I don't have to re build and don't loose all my items, they will just take what they need and leave so I only really need to rebuild the front door. Once you get base defense, then I start to stack items.

Great content dude. Your energy and baritone voice are your selling points. You interact with your viewers which makes you more personable and your facts are straight when you present them. You rarely give opinions without strong points to back them up. All in all man I see you going far as a content creator. Stick with it, evolve with your fan base and if you find time maybe branch out in a couple different directions to capture a wider audience. Either way, keep doing what you’re doing.

How much points should i put on movement as a beginner

I'm planning on getting ark today and wanted to know if there is an actual aim to the game other than taming creatures and surviving?

Ive played Ark since Early Access, and sooooo ready to start Lost Island in a 100 day challenge... just gotta brush off the cobwebs in my head on starting a new character. Good stuff... and yeah.. map markers have saved my butt more often than running away. Nobody wants to have to re-build their base because they cant find the first one... yeah.. guilty :)

As someone who has played ark for a long time, at the beginning I usually always focus on health, weight, and a little bit of movement speed. Most of the time I stop focusing on my health when it’s at 200, and start lvling up weight and movement speed.

I need a group to play with. Thats the hardest part about ark.

Fun tip: me and my friend teamed up to mine metal he grabbed his quetzal and I went on his ankylosaurus and used it to gather lots of metal

for tip 6:
if you have access to extinction or gen2, and know where to find them, get velonasaurs. in genesis 2, you have hln-a which lets you scan dinosaurs for stats that you want (mainly stamina, melee, and speed). they're ranged dinos that dont need ammo (they use stamina instead) and if you have it set to attack your target (and turret mode maybe), it doesn't lose stamina so you can get to a vantage point and shoot a dino you want to kill or get off of the velonasaur and set it to turret mode and then shoot your target with a bow or crossbow or maybe longneck.
they do heavy damage, and with a decent one and a nice vantage point, you can kill an alpha rex in less than a minute.
also, to enter turret mode you press c (but dont know what to press on xbox or ps4)

Just me who has killed all bosses knows the game but always enjoys these tips and tricks videos still

Is this smart me and my friends put are base on are boat and keep beds where ever we go so we can be ready

I decided to try out hardcore mode first some time ago and was immediately defeated by the challenge. Came back recently wanting to play a splitscreen game with a friend and forgot that i had it set. It was pretty crushing and frustrating going back to level 1 over and over, definitely got me to respect the wildlife. Switched off of haedcore mode and enjoying the game a lot more now that I'm not locked out of my structures every death and having to relearn engram. Kinda got me used to speeding to create a 1x1 structure, then adding to that. Didnt think the speed star would be useful, good to know that you can outrun a lot of dinos.

Just died by a therozinosaur listening to.tip 2 but I learned a lesson
