BS. Porter changed their policy for support animals. My elder support worker at my request booked my flight to toronto for specialist care. I found out too late of the change of policy, would have had to chop my dog in half to be allowed on the flight and they had no provision to fly him in cargo because they save that space for able bodied peoples' luggage. I was not able to get a refund.

I am neither American nor Canadian but had heard of Porter airlines so the assumption that people have never heard of Porter is false.
You didn't get into that lounge by virtue of flying Porter Reserve so including the lounge visit without explaining your means of gaining access was somewhat misleading.
You fail to make it clear that those 36 inch pitch seats are only the first four Porter Reserve rows and that the standard seats on that aircraft have a much more normal and much less comfortable 30 inch pitch.
You fail to make it clear that those meals are only free to Porter Reserve passengers and not to everybody.
Your reference to Porter Reserve as First Class made me laugh. The lack of any curtain or divider makes it not a separate class, not even Premium Economy.

Best airline in somebody 40 years of frequent flying? It may be good by today's standards but nothing impressive about it by the standards of 40 years ago! Nothing impressive about that food served in those containers in a cardboard box by the standards of Canadian domestic flights in the 1980's but by todays low standards excellent for Economy.
Despite all that I have said I am nevertheless left with a favourable opinion of this airline.
