u can enable 4k video stab in gcam by choosing eis v2 in stream configuration

This is a software difference so if you photograph in RAW mode and edit the pictures a little you can get the same results with both of them. For the selfies it is good to remember that the POCO camera has Embellishment as its default, so it counts a lot on the differences you highlighted.

I'm using GCAM 8.4 shamim from xda with a provided XML file. The rendering in photos is clearly better esp. in low light.
BUT at the same time, the photos are 30-50Mo with GCam Vs 4Mo on Stock. in the settings RAW is deactivated of course.
is there a way to change that somewhere in GCam so it takes less storage?

Well you can go to advanced settings on the gcam and change the contrast, saturation and other colour balances according to your preference so only detail matters..

snap 695 handles video stabilization very badly, helio g95 g96 and 810 handle video stabilization much better

Can you please tell me what happens when we increase hdr frames.. Does camera take more photos and merge it to one.. Do this stress the camera hardware and degrade it over time..
