That's weird on the range. Iv'e seen other videos where the RC-N1 got more range.

Surely the difference is really obvious, the differences can also be listed as downsides. Using your phone is most certainly going to have a smaller screen, using your phone battery (the average iPhone is around d £800), using your phone storage (iPhones memory not extendable). I cannot think of a single good reason to use your phone. Any advantage using your phone is lost with the plethora of downsides.

I'm moving up from a mini 2 se and bought the mini 3 pro new on ebay drone onlyso making do with the rc-n1 for now but def looking to upgrade asap

The 5.5 inch display is a deal breaker without the ability to add an external ipad or tablet. Too small. I can barely see with my larger iphone 14 pro max.

Which one CONNECTS to the drone faster? I hate waiting for my smart phone to Pair with the controller and then the controller to connect to the drone. Is it any different with the N1?

Get the RC-N1. The RC controller does not allow any third party app to be installed. A huge bummer.

I have Dji mini 3 with dji RC and i went 6km without any big signal losses. You can see it in my latest video. I think it depends on your location.

Hold the phone , the flight time was only 20 minutes ? how come all these other reviewrs make it aroun 26-28 minutes ?

I use the RC-N1 with an ipod mini. I rest part of my hands on the front of the controller

Great video. Really enjoyed you presentation style. You have thrown a spanner in the works, though! I was about to push the button on an RC-N1, and I'd have gone for it were it not for that pesky single shoulder control dial! Everything else I think I can live with, but not being able to control the gimbal and zoom in/out at the same time just seems a limitation too far for me. I'd also like to be able to zoom without taking my thumb off the left stick.

i was thinking why you dont attach a airtag on the top? it is not super heavy i will help ypu to find ir easier

DJI-RC controller is great and handy. But i prefer the standard RC-N1 controller. Gives you the option to add a tablet for a much larger screen or just your cell phone.

Very useful information. I will be using my DJI 3 Pro with RC controller to video crops daily. Furthest i will go is 1.5 miles with some circling, then returning. Sounds like it will work perfectly.

Never with a DJI, chinese companies are required to spy for the chinese communists and denly it.

I think the main reason for choosing Mini 3 vs Mini3 pro is that the first cost half of the price. In Europe is 469E vs 829E. The features from Pros are not worth for a beginner. 60p vs 30p is almost invisibile from high fly, 1080p on live screen is not so important while the real movie in 4k is on card, collision sensors are only half without sides. For double the price Pro is not worth as the first drone.
