As a hardcore gamer becoming a solo dev, it pisses me off to find out that he does actually teleport. I suspected he did that. It's the reason I never bought the Nemesis refake. It's total BS. If players can get way ahead of Mr. X or Nemesis, let it be that way. I'm proud to say I would never design a game this way and I practice what I preach in the racing game I'm making. My A.I. trucks aren't gyro glued to the track. They'll brake for cornering, they'll ease up on the throttle, and they'll even brake for other trucks a bit if they are in the way. Most modern racers are built this way, expect for the cheating stability that's usually applied to A.I. vehicles. I can’t stand any A.I. that feels like it has cheats turned on. I just won't have it in my games. The bullshit excuse is always for difficulty or pacing, but there are plenty of legit ways to balance a game without cheating A.I. We're decades past slow, incapable hardware and software.

I just modded out Mr X .. they should've kept him like the original, only appearing in B play through..

I love how the lighting changes during cutscenes, looks so trippy from the 3rd person view, but totally makes they'd light it differently depending on the camera framing.

So strange to see the lights and stuff change following the cameras that fast. I thought they used some sort of passes for different cameras like in modelling we can exclude lights from scenes, limit certain lights to certain objects etc. Never would have guessed they solved it this way.
