One important note: Belgrade is not one of the oldest cities in Europe, it is the oldest of all! The oldest houses at the territory of Belgrade were built at Vinca and Banjica (so called Vinca culture) communities at the territory of Belgrade about 6000 years ago. Vinca culture was most advanced culture of that time and the first known alphabet in Europe was created in Vinca at that time. Later on, other alphabets which we use today like Cyrilo or Latin alphabet as well as Ethruscan alphabet were created from modifications of Vinca alphabet.

the best geographic location for a city, where two beautifull river meets Sava and Danube, climate is great, panonian basen and hills from south meets, it is just wonderfull place for a city who ever control it, where the east and west mix

As a guy who live here,i can say it is special. There are bad things in the city, such as it is not that white (clean) as it should be, but, it is HOME and i love it.

Belgrade has long and rich history, and it is gateway between east and west, but it's not melting pot of cultures, that's for sure

Beautiful city and one of the oldest and most historic cities in the world,very nice friendly people with some of the most beautiful women in Europe, it has great variety of very good restaurants and night life it is just amazing. Definitely I will visit Serbia and Belgrade again !
