anyone know why the Subtitles NOT the Titles don't appear on your main timeline when you copy/paste them from their source. I'm only showing the Captions when I copy/paste. Again I'm not sure if I'm missing a checkbox or something. FYI: when I paste both Captions and Subtitles I do see the Subtibles on the timeline, but they show "grayed out" Note: they only appear on the created Project timeline Captionator created, but they don't carry over to my video Timeline.

Do I need to pay extra money for this Captionator? Also I would love your advice as I am planning to purchase FCP now so how much money do I need to pay for plugins or extra apps to run. I am new to apple to wondering about this.

I just bought this and it is a total scam. Do not buy this. It doesn't work. I'm working on the macOS Monterrey and Final Cut 10.6.6. It will either give you an error when importing the xml or if you choose the legacy option, it will import a empty timeline.

It's a real shame the reviews on the app store are so bad, 2/5. I thought this could save me a lot of time but it just doesn't work very well in real life and can't even begin to compare to using the built-in captions that Premier does itself.

Hmmmmm I downloaded the app and I'm trying it out on a video that's 1 minute and 30 seconds long. Exporting the FML file works, but it only exports 1 minute of the text, and it's out of order from what's in the video? Is this just the word detecting AI being buggy?

I’ve been using it, but for shorts I recently started using CapCut. It’s more intuitive, but I need to export to the phone to use it. Captionator occasionally mixes up the words.

Hi thanks for the plugin, can you please tell, if I speak in Hindi or Urdu etc, does this plugin would generate those "words into texts", here I am not talking about "translation", I am asking about, what it do in English, would it do in any other language, "convert the spoken words into captions, presented in English".
