Studio 5000 PLC Programming (How to Download & Install Studio 5000)

Just to be clear, there is no way to add multiple revision levels to the Logix Designer software. You must install the entire package (8Gb) for every revision of controller you're programming? I downloaded and installed the latest version of RS Studio 5000 and assumed I could add multiple revisions to that package so I could go online to any older PLC and upload the code. But it sounds like I need to uninstall and reinstall a different package for every version of PLC I have. Is this correct?
