ℹ️ This video is suitable for practicing active 3D hearing. With the help of this binaural sound recording, you can hear through the ears of a stranger as he/she wanders around a folk festival.
In the best case scenario, this results in an immersive sound experience in which you should pay close attention to the different types of spatial sound and characteristics in order to answer the following questions at the end:

What was the most distinctive sound?

What was the most surprising sound?

Were there human sounds?

Were there industrial sounds?

Were there natural sounds?

Did you make sounds yourself?

Which sound was furthest away?

Which sound was closest?

Were there permanent sounds?

Were there any sounds that you could not identify?

Repeat as often as necessary to capture more and more nuances and details. In principle, you can do this exercise (according to R. Murray Schafer) with any 3d soundscape recording / arrangement. Or you can simply stand somewhere for 10 minutes in an interesting place and do it with your own ears. It will help you in the long run to actively interpret 3d acoustics analytically and to work with them in the end.
