Hi Eddie & Ayn, you do have a beautiful property! I love your walking shots. Yes I agree with RCAF you are a good preacher/teacher.
ОтветитьNice❤️🐸CW God is Good . Ask in His Time u. Will receive ✨✨
ОтветитьLetting go of the past to embrace the future. Eliminate or at least minimize procrastination it can be a dream killer.
ОтветитьI feel our stories are very similar; our homestead took over 2 years to find after looking at dozens of places that just wouldn’t work. In the end, figuring out what your dreams are early and sticking to them can really help you get over that scary hump of commitment. Cheers🎉
ОтветитьThat is a gorgeous property! You’ve already done a lot of incredible upgrades and I look forward to seeing more!
Keep on Tractoring
We achieved our dream home/property in 2021 . Here in the mountains of Montana. It was a retirement plan and a small property to minimize maintenance but so glad we did it. Sacrifices were made but now living the debt free lifestyle. I have an overview vid of our home build called “Move In”. 👍
ОтветитьHi Ed & Ayn. We are so happy it worked out for you. We've always said that success is when opportunity and preparedness meet. You guys are living proof.
ОтветитьExtremely happy to hear your amazing dream and its realization. Congratulations Ayn and Ed!
ОтветитьWOW.....very powerful. I believe the Lord was certainly involved. We have enjoyed our dream, and we are blessed living on our farm. God Bless, Bob
ОтветитьIt is fantastic that you made the dream happen. Lots of great advice, thanks
ОтветитьPowerful!
ОтветитьGreat advice Ed. I did the exact same thing; guy owned an adjacent property to mine, sent a letter to him and he was delighted to sell.
ОтветитьAlways stay humble and kind. You're a good man Charlie Brown
Cheers
I've bought property that wasn't for sale. As long as you are respectful with your inquiry no one should take offense. If they don't reply it's no big deal. Enjoying watching you work on the property. Nice video.
ОтветитьYou are exactly right! I too had a childhood similar to you. I went to work, met my wife, lives in the city, raised kids and always wanted to get to the country. Finally accomplished it. Sold my home bought a home on 5 acres for the same price. It really didn’t cost us any money, except to hire a moving company to haul 30years with of stuff to the new place. I almost lived the same life as you. I’m 65 now and love every day. I have a Kubota tractor and I find something to tear up all the time. I really look forward to your content. I’ve learned a lot from you. Keep up the good work. God bless y’all. Yep I’m a Texan.
ОтветитьBest vid yet, kind regards
ОтветитьAnother great video! Great advice also. You have to be honest with yourself about what you really want. And then be ready to commit when your opportunity comes. Financial part can be scary, the fear of failing can be scary. Having a partner with the same vision is paramount to succeeding .
ОтветитьMr. Ed, We are so happy for you and Miss Ayn. Owning a piece of "Gods Green Earth" is the best thing in life. I finally locked in the last piece of the puzzle regarding my land in 2019. Enjoy every minute of it Ed, land is the best!
ОтветитьI don’t know if you want to answer this how old are you.
Because I just turned 52 and have thought about moving for years for a quieter place, with a little land. I just haven’t looked into it as much now that I’m older. This video is making rethink it. Good video.
Thanks for sharing all the details of your “property” story. Everything lined up for you just right. We live on my grandfather’s farm (well, it’s ours now…). My dad bought his brother out of the abutting 200 acre woodlot from the estate, and my wife and I bought the 54 acre property with the house and barn. It was a fixer upper as my grandfather was stubborn and self reliant, and things had gotten away from him… almost 4 years of work later and the place is getting back into shape! It’s a lot of work, but it’s (mostly) enjoyable. Always a project that can be done on property… Keep at it!
ОтветитьWonderful advice, Please do a video of the beautiful plantings (Anne's/Yours ) ? zinnias/sunflowers Kind Regards. Craig
ОтветитьA brilliant guy, friend and real estate broker Richard Karzen shared with me some time ago, “you don’t buy property you buy situations.” Just like you and your seller, the situations lined up and the deal worked. The more I hear stories the more I realize Richard is 100% right. Yeah money is a factor but it’s only part of the equation. A lot came before that but the real estate was really just the end result of buyer and sellers situations lining up. Great story. Happy for ya and thank you cause when my wife and I realized our dream rural property (also wasn’t for sale on the open market at the time we bought it) I watched your channel to get acquainted with the tasks ahead and how to approach them and of course influenced us to get a Kubota tractor.
ОтветитьI bought the worst house in the best neighborhood when I was 29. Fixed it up with my wife. That basically set us up for life. In combination with being well employed.
ОтветитьDid you make this video for me :) xoxo
ОтветитьGreat story and awesome you got to fulfill that dream. Enjoy Ed and Ayn and so glad it worked out.
ОтветитьIt is difficult to not look back as one gets older. Perhaps having a goal outside of work and everyday life is one way to look ahead without looking back too much to be healthy.
ОтветитьGreat advice! Great videos, and I don't know how you did it but, I loved the hallway with doors and the last one opened onto you. Well done. Keep up the good work. Cheers! Bruce in Aiken, South Carolina
ОтветитьDang, you are special. More people like you in this world and there's no end to how great things could be. ❤
ОтветитьWhat was wrong with the land you grew up on? Do you have children as they my not think selling a family home with that kind of history was the right thing(?)
ОтветитьI like the driveway walk part with the flowers on both sides looks great ED
ОтветитьA1, S3. " to thine own self be true..."
ОтветитьWell that was very moving. Thanks for sharing. We've got our little 4.5 acres which is tiny in comparison but I think I have the same feeling of knowing it's what I always wanted. Living in nature has changed my life. Hopefully I'll retire soon and get to enjoy it all day every day with my trusty kubota tractor! Nice to see how happy you are. Keep up the great videos!
ОтветитьNice motivational talk! Simple and easy to understand. I hope it helps a lot of folks... :)
ОтветитьVery well thought out i do agree
