What PSU Do I Have? [Simple Guide]

Can anyone tell me the different physical sizes (not wattage) so I know what to look for. Everyone seems to think the "size" of a PSU is the rated power output (watts). I totally understand that part and it won't help me find a PCU that will screw into my case. Are there 2 sizes? 3or4? I have tried to rephrase my searches and I have watched a bunch of videos talking about the "size of watts". Watts don't have any physical size.

I can't find mine because I wasn't the one who build it and the guy who we bought my pc is the one who built it and I don't have a contact with him. And I'm planning to buy new gpu, I've search everything and the gpu that I'm about to buy is compatible to my motherboard and cpu, is it bad if the gpu I'm about to buy is not compatible to psu? Or it doesn't have to be compatible with psu in order to work?

Hey Gaming Scan, as someone who is interested in building a PC but is completely unfamiliar with the realm of PC Gaming, I rely heavily on your guides, especially the "What Do I Need to Build a Gaming PC? [The COMPLETE Beginner's Guide] (2020)" video and find them to be the most thorough but i was wondering if there could be a new extensive guide for complete beginners to understand the more complex hardware and software terminology, compatibility specifications etc. which get in the way of piecing together a coherent idea of a functioning computer that isn't so confusing, at least for me. If anyone could help me ease my predicament so i don't resort to buying a prebuilt or a console, I'd highly appreciate it.
