The one big strength of the Germans was their ability to "change quickly using NCOs". The Allies were still heavily dependent on decision making at top ranks.

Troops along the line kept reporting heavy tracked vehicles on the move and lots of communications.
HQS said it was just the Germans doing their own version of a "ghost army". OR, it was the Germans retreating. HQS even ignored when inadvertent incursions occurred along the lines
It was a huge intelligence failure by the Allies.

Is this video using "canned" (computerized) narration ? I noticed that some of the German lt colonels, had their ranks verbalized as just "lieutenant", though the accompanying text, showed the higher rank.

It's a panzer 4 tank not a mark 4 tank, get that straight, British tanks are marks and German tanks are panzers, US tanks are M and Russian tanks are T!
When you say mark 4 it sounds like the Germans are using British tanks!

Wasn't this the battle where Pattons elite 3rd army needed their arses saving by a British army under Field Marshall Montgomery? Without the British help Patton would have been forced to surrender because he was a tactical fuckwit? Yes of course it was.

Well, to be brutally honest, the German forces were more than handicapped from the very beginning of that battle. The Germans were nowhere near full combat strength. They lacked supplies, fuel and pretty much everything you need for a battle.
The idea that they could have successfully pushed all the way to Antwerp was a childish wet dream in Hitler's brain.
At this time in December 1944, the German armed forces were utterly weakened and the battle of The Bulge was one of the dumbest things the Nazis could ever have thought up.
Yet, they managed to hold out another 4 months.
American forces in honesty never faced the Nazis at the height of their combat power. That combat power was spent and bled out in the East and the Americans should probably feel lucky they never had to go through what the Russians went through on the eastern front.
America definitely shortened the war in Europe but to claim that America won the war in Europe is not necessarily entirely correct. If the Nazis had not been bled dry in the East, American forces would have faced a completely different situation in Western Europe.

In 1944 dare I say there were almost zero elite troops left to fight for the Reich....seeing how the german army was broke at stalingrad in 43....these narratives yall drive for clicks really do a disservice to "history" but I guess it is just his-story
