Nice but what an absolute let down that BattleLord was at the end. I’ve been playing Duke3D on Let’s Rock difficulty and if I stand off toe to toe with a BattleLord, even with the devastator I’m losing most of my health (and that’s usually with atomic health boost). Seems you can stand still firing a chain gun cannon and bullets firing back at you are missing most of the time.

[ And I remember this A Mad Onions 2001 futuremark test for graphic cards. I had an ATI Radeon 9650XT for this test. Where are was nVidia GeForce 4 Ti on a market for sale that no one was able to buy it and an ATI Radeon 9880XT & ATI Radeon 9990XT also was some cards you can only dream about to have. A maksium I had achived was about 7000 future marks. 12000 was so much and about 27000 was a record for video cards on this bench.
One scene for this benchmark was from Duke Nukem 3D ]

Weird. Kinda don't like it. Many undeserved changes on iconic places. While at the same time not recreating dated assets like the buttons on the walls, or the screens on televisions and computers. Also added many characters that weren't there at all originally.
Kinda didn't go the full replicate the original route, nor the build anew using new technologies routes, and ended somewhere in between where it's not charming or interesting in either way.

This is what they should make for the public

The most pointless mod. Why would you ever want to play this when the original game is so much better. It's like that mod for Jedi Academy that remakes Dark Forces. Just play the actual game. Much better experience.
