Just a heads up: If you are running into displacement issues, try setting your Displacement Center value to 0 in your master material. You'll find this in the material details panel on the left. Depending on your setup you can get really nasty results.
ОтветитьHere is another inspiration for a "Easy"-Type plugin (tm). I´ve been pondering (pun intended) myself to create one, but I just don´t have the time rn: There isn´t a single pond/lake water material that includes a function to break up the wave noise on the surface.
Which is the ONE thing that makes every water surface like that I have seen so far look "gamey" in Unreal Engine. I´m not talking about rivers or Oceans, there are a few good plugins for deformed water surfaces and with nanite tesselation there probably will be even better ones soon.
But with lakes and ponds and stuff like that, In reality they all have patches of more or less disturbance.
I haven´t looked into it yet, but in theory all it would take would be a layered normal map setup, with 4waymotion or something like that, that would allow you to create different "roughness" patches on a water surface.
Combine that with scattered leaves and other debris (which I HAVE seen before) and maybe a way to also break up the underwater murkyness with noise and you´ll have something that increases the realism of water surfaces by a LOT.
Another great plugin. Those snowflakes look soo good.
Its one of the things I never got: Why do people make great looking dynamics for snow FX and then have simple soft sphere particles....That bit of extra works you did in making realistic clumps is SO worth it.
Also glad you reminded me that I too wanted to figure out a fix for the snow glimmering in the shadows issue...:)
Been a while I toyed with it, maybe I know more now than I did back then, but hopefully you find a fix before I do...
what about other.. we should wait for "Easy Weather" too.. that will be handy.... "Easy Rain" and "Easy Sky",, I rally love to see these simple version from your side.. if you can mange to do that.. thanks
ОтветитьI bought your pack.. its really great.. thanks for sharing with us..
ОтветитьWilliam, along with all your guidance, I bought this and easyfog and you have saved me so much time. Once I actually make it big, I won't forget your help. Ed
ОтветитьI will only say this, " William, why is this only CAD 13? " Amazing tool, thanks for such an affordable and super helpful tool and of course your tutorials are always gold! Best wishes, man!
ОтветитьEasyCrowd next!!!
ОтветитьI have purchased and used it. It is really practical. I have a question that I need help with. Is there any way to export the snow mask separately or bake it directly onto the map for use in external software?
ОтветитьYou do great work man, keep it up. The detail and honesty in this is awesome and truly inspiring.
ОтветитьWhen Easy Destruction?
ОтветитьThis looks fantastic, William! Do you have any plans to add functionality for interactive footprints and tire tracks?
ОтветитьI'm not seeing a 30% off in the store... unless you mean you'll be increasing the price to $15
Ответитьwoooo
ОтветитьThis looks amazing! What is your favorite solution for rain?
ОтветитьThis is a god send. Literally spent the last two weeks trying research and build good snow. Thank you thank you thank you!
ОтветитьFor the Global/Box mask thing, try using CPD instead of a parameter collection. It would still limit it to 1BP per overlapped actor BUT you could have multiple in the world. Used a similar approach with great success in a previous project to replace per instance vertex colour painting. Also there are ways to make that box mask be rotatable you just have to do the maths yourself. I made a sphere/plane mask where you could blend between the 2 options so you could have an elongated sphere or curved plane, both of which were directional depending on the gizmo rotation.
ОтветитьDude! You're insane man. I love this! Purchased :D
ОтветитьDoes this also work with PathTracer? We're running into so many small issues with plugins not being compatible or not made for PathTracer, so before purchasing, I'd like to be sure it works :)
ОтветитьAwesome work!
ОтветитьMade my purchase instantly! Another great and affordable product.
You mentioned using easysnow for dust particles, can you make a video showcasing how we can do this?
really cool plugin!
really well made and love all the parameters you can edit in it.
you think its also well enoygh optimist to use for games? or better stick to pre-rendert cutscene's when using this plugin?
either way concrats on releasing this plugin! ;)
Didnt even give a hell what this does = I just bought it
release more shit -- we love you
😍
ОтветитьPlease share your GPU info. I start learning UE 5 and want to invest properly.
Thank you.
Great work dude ^___^
Ответитьiusm
ОтветитьI will probably buy it one day... But this time, it's not so easy ^^
I hope it will work correctly with Camera360 plug in.
One thing really missing now about the snow, it's the foot step or véhicule projection of the snow.
No more pluging do that on unreal engine 5.
Can't push snow and let some footprint and wheel print in cinematics...
great product William! Whats the best way to go about adding this to a InstanceFoilage Actor so I can have the snow build up on my forest?
ОтветитьI probably got recommended this because I like CG stuff, and I've watched some Unreal things. That said, it's not something I'm probably EVER going to use.
I'm still 100% buying it, though, if only to throw money at this person for doing something not only amazingly awesome, but also making it EASY to use, AND EXPLAINING HOW TO USE IT. I may buy it twice!
Great, does it use nanite and nanite displacement?
ОтветитьI just bought it now and it really speed up my workflow. Thanks for great handy tool
ОтветитьHello, I bought tools, but why are there only snowflake icons in the last few examples in the map that have no effect?
ОтветитьThis is fantastic! EasyFog has become a constant in so many of my projects since it came out and can't wait to try this out too. Quite keen to play around with it to see if it can work for something like Volcanic ash as well
ОтветитьNot even a creator within UE but I watched this video and I was amazed.
I want to make a world!
Can I do this easily?
Looks awesome 👍 😎 could actually need this for my nordic viking game. That's why Im scanning stuff here in Finland. And the issue with UDIM was that I couldn't have Build Nanite on import, had to enable it later.
ОтветитьThis is a wonderful tool, and you provide a wonderful service here.
ОтветитьJust bought all 3 of your products! Thanks for all the wonderful Unreal videos.
ОтветитьProbably not optimized enough for an open world flying game where we're looking both close and far away. Looks good for artistic rendering though!
ОтветитьAwesome! Can't wait to try it out. 🎉🎉🎉
ОтветитьThis is by far the best snow tool in the whole 3D industry!
ОтветитьHey it's insane thank you very much! I see in the marketplace as a full price of 9.99$, is it after 30% off?
ОтветитьIs it heavy for games?
ОтветитьCan you PLEASE do "Rain" effects like this? Because I know if you do, it'd probably be the BESTEST Rain asset in the Market!
ОтветитьDoes it work with the path tracer?
ОтветитьThis is beautiful! Well done William!
Ответитьcool feature but it's showing normal price right now
Ответитьcool, how about the next tool "EasyRain"?Particle effects and surface materials like the EasySnow tool😁
Ответитьpretty cool!!!! Next useful tool will be easy rain drop, right?
ОтветитьAaaaaaand impulse bought. I'll add this to my collection of awesome tools I never get time to use 😂.
